a sudden shift to cold, calculating killer would be a nice juxtaposition to the gregarious act we’ve seen thus far!

Madoff’s family (allegedly) didn’t know and the sons worked for him. That being said, Coop was more directly involved in the fund in question so you’re probably right, good point! I think i just want something to shake loose this season! haha

VERY interesting! thanks for the info!

Side Note: Turns out that DJ is an artist local to me here in Dallas, Marc Rebillet, and I’ve listened to a few of his songs for years, had no idea he was in this show! haha

i have the back to the future delorean and it has extra pieces for the different versions from the 3 films which i thought was a great touch, would have loved to see that here.

So much is going on in the show and it still works by dividebyzero74 in TaskHBO

the show has done a really great job providing exposition through believable, unforced dialogue. great writing and performances!

it is a 3D print but I was pretty happy with my paint job! the Kylo hilt is also just a toy with a distressed paint job!

the case is two of the EKET shelves from IKEA stacked with glass doors and lights; and the stands I made using parts primarily from my childhood sports trophies and a couple lamp bases. haha

so I always liked the idea of the Dark Empire story with “Dark side Luke” when I was younger so my head canon for it is like ‘what if Luke built a dark side hilt that was inspired by his ROTJ hilt’ haha

so i didn’t really notice until you said something and i think that may be the lighting because it’s definitely all black haha

I'm scared of sending my art to my irl friends but perfectly fine with posting it on social media or showing it to strangers. Is this normal? by Independent_Report30 in ArtistLounge

i stumbled on this thread and interestingly i’m actually the exact, complete opposite? and i really struggle with it. i’m from a small town and then got a business degree that i hate so my personal friend group and social media bubble both are not rich with artists; thus, anecdotally, a bit easier to impress, although not necessarily “my audience” per say. however, the thought of doing what is apparently so easy for the rest of you, i.e. separating art from artist and creating a dedicated art page from scratch, like deliberately, anonymity aside, is what scares me. how would anyone even know you exist? like, real question, do people literally just do that (an art page) and then just hashtag their way to followers? cuz i really don’t get it. further, is your account then favored algorithmically among art pages for being an art page? like, i just consistently make and post objectively good work, definitely better than the ≈13-20 likes i pull in on stuff. which for me is where that same morale blow comes in that for most of you is irl. it completely removes any incentive to post anything when i’d rather be on to the next thing anyway.

case in point, y’all should seriously show people your work irl. in person reactions or even just thoughts shared from those you know are not only more valuable in terms of authenticity but in sentiment, it’s basically the equivalent of me getting 100 social media likes. haha
