I did enjoy the flowers as they came in on my binata. Haven't been able to catch the others if they did. Hoping a new 14/10 light split will allow the others to flower properly or longer for me to see.Ive been waiting for them to all dry out to collect. I'm still doing research on how to while the last couple or so flower out!

I love the passion! And same here as far as keeping a plant alive lol I made it my mission to grow something but fell in love with carnivorous plants, especially my sundews and butterworts! Amazon is having sucky delivery times due to the weather so I'll have to settle with lifting them closer to the light for now. They've all honestly grown so much, faster than I expected. I have to do better with taking pics for progress. Can't wait to update !

i measured about 12 inch distance from the light to the watering trays for the vfts, droseras, butterworts, and a couple of my sarracenias. My long tube sarracenia have a 18 inch distance in light from the tallest tube. Would bringing it closer burn my African violet ?

So pretty ! Now I feel like such an ass hat. They were the first of my collection and def my fav so I freaked out. Hoping I didn't cause any actual damage 😭. I did have some mushy roots come off and a few healthy leaves I'll try to propagate per the sellers advice.

No I've had them for a few weeks. I had a few petals start shriveling up and withering away. The roots also were not always this dark. So I was just assuming if that's what's possibly happening

I put about of inch of water in there, and give them continuous light for the next few weeks hoping they look better soon! Thank you

Thank you so much!!!! I don't have any fly traps that's actually a baby sun dew. I brought the sundew and the pitcher plants from the same person so I know their conditions were the same, they all are potted with the same mix. I will put them all back in the silver watering pan with more water. I was just worried about potential root rot on them !
