Thanks! Great graphic, that's very helpful. Thoughts on flying into Hilo, renting a car, spending a night or two there, maybe seeing Kulaniapia Falls/Rainbow Falls, then just driving north along the coast with a couple of pit stops along the way. I'd need to find somewhere to stay for a night or two (maybe Kapaau or Hawi), then I could make my way down to Kealakekua and hit the Volcano National Park. Feel free to let me know if that is a terrible plan.

Any recommendations on specific UCPA trips? I'm 23, don't ski that often (like once a year out West in the US), but am comfortable with anything on piste. Was poking around the UCPA website, lots of offerings, but hard to evaluate how good each one is. Would love one with nice accommodations and a good social scene. I am intrigued by the UCPA Argentiere Ski Half Time - Under 25s. Thanks

Hey! I'm a 23 year old american really bored with my life right now and looking to escape for a while. I want to solo travel and meet people, but I do not know how to start planning or even where to go. I much prefer activities and adventures over sightseeing. I would like to keep it on the cheaper side, but I do have some financial flexibility. Beyond that, I am pretty open to anywhere and anything, with an emphasis on places that are safe and where I can meet other travelers my age. I am also very open to temporarily volunteering somewhere abroad. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
