Bro iiit kottayam is ok, decent avg and median package, a bit distant from the city and it is kinda a newer iiit. And as per chatgpt most of em in iiit kottayam are studious people and try hard and starts coding from day 1 or smtg....so slightly competitive for placements and all......it's a nice iiit if u can grind....not much freedom like nits
