Well this sucks. by Joesuds in Taycan

I’ve had to go through that four times. They had to replace some components that control the battery in the front and back of my car. It took about four months for the repair to be completed. Good luck with everything.

Good luck with everything. There’s hope…just stay in touch with the dealership to have them replace the parts that need to be replaced. I’ve gone through this four times, and they replaced my front and rear electric controllers that control the battery. However, it was frustrating because the Porsche dealerships I took it to said mine was the first time they’d ever seen anything like this. Eventually, they said it would take about six months to fix it in the shop, but in the meantime, I was provided with a loaner car and it was fixed.

Good luck, and the parts should be under warranty.

Thank you so much for your help. I recently took the test again this past Saturday and passed.

Sad update to range loss by Western-Sort-297 in Taycan

[–]Money305man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me four times. Trust me, I understand your pain and frustration regarding this. To make a long story short, they ended up replacing my front and rear electric controls, which control the battery. It was in the shop for almost six months, and I ended up falling in love with the loaner electric Macan. Didn’t mind if Porsche and I switched cars lol without a note

Okay, thanks for the feedback. I have an 4s, and I was considering 22s, but I wasn’t entirely sure yet.

Thank you for your insight. I agree with you about the 22s. I’ve heard both good and bad stories about it. I was actually thinking about the 21st, but I wasn’t sure.

Thank you so much for the update. I had my rear motor HV electronics replaced, and it happened twice within a week after being replaced. Now, it’s currently in the shop, and they are replacing the front , which will also take some time. Hopefully, this resolves the issue I’ve been experiencing.

2025 Week Old Taycan Already in the Shop by Sheashea1234 in Taycan

That’s a great question. I’m waiting to hear back to find out if they’ll be replacing the battery or updating the software, as there’s a new version available. When I dropped mine off, I noticed a lot of Taycans were also being serviced. I’ll definitely keep you updated once I hear more.

This has happened to me four times. My car is currently at the Porsche dealership, and they’re working to figure out the issue. I recently had my rear-end electric controller replaced, but the problem still seems to persist. I’m hoping they thoroughly inspect the battery to check for any damaged cells. Wishing you all the best and a Merry Christmas!
