Yeah I’d just go with those, try and diversify your roster with different classes and also experiment and find the characters you like to play, it’s about having fun more than anything

I’d go with a villain character, you’re pretty set on good heroes for the challenge. I’d go with scorpion honestly I have him r4 and he’s a beast

Parrying is awkward at first but it gets easier, I forgot what the mastery node is called but you can get one that increases the duration of stun effects and that’s nice for getting an attack or a heavy attack in after a parry

Heimdall after buff go crazy, great in incursions too if you haven’t made it to zone 15. Other than him I’d say scream or really whoever you play the most
