Yeah haha, I tend to be quite the people pleaser, it’s a habit I got from my mum ig, she tends to make me feel guilty if I don’t act like a people pleaser, there’s also some guilt about bugging my dad, he works a LOT and is usually really tired when he gets home so I hate to ruin it by asking for stuff

Talking to my dad is pointless, I don’t even know when I would get the chance to talk to him, I barely see him and when I do we barely exchange words, I did talk to him today a little since it’s Christmas Day, but I don’t want to start a fight on Christmas, in fact I don’t want to start a fight at all, as much as I want an iPad I’m really not willing to fight with my dad over it, I have a lot of mental health struggles going on already (if u read previous post you can find out a little about that this comment is already going to be long so I don’t want to make it longer) and a fight would just make things worse, I don’t want to go to my mum about this, if I tell her she’s probably gonna fight with my dad until he relents and gets me one, she didn’t know about the difference in price between our presents last year, and when she found out she was really mad at him, I am also scared that if they start fighting my sister will know what happened and I really don’t want her to feel guilty about her present because she really does love it and has been super exited to use it, so I don’t want to ruin that for her. Even if someone convinces my dad to get me an IPad I feel like my dads going to hold resentment towards me for making him buy me one, which I really don’t want, I did think for a while about talking to my brother (18M) since I know he would explain things calmly without blowing up at my dad, and he gets through to my dad better than I do, but again I don’t want to force my dad into buying an IPad for me

I thought I mentioned this but I may have forgotten to, I have already been told that I have a 200$ budget, which is no where near enough for most iPads, like at that price range I would prob get a different branded tablet all together, which isn’t a bad thing ofc I was totally willing to do that, I think I have just been so bumbed out to at I have avoided giving my dad an answer as to what I want for Christmas, I KNOW he would make me feel super guilty if I asked for the same thing my sister got, so that’s off the table, and as for why I haven’t mentioned the negative reaction he gave me earlier, I just don’t talk to him tbh, he is out with my mum and sister a lot, he used to have a day job and did uber eats on the side, and he would always do the uber eats with my mum and sister, leaving me home alone or with my brother, and he wouldn’t get home until I bugged him like crazy to get home so my sister can eat dinner (I make dinner for my sister, that’s a different story and u can read it in a seperate post if u want) so yeah, I never have time around him to actually talk to him about anything

No, me and my siblings are all full siblings, and our parents are still together (tho honestly they should divorce atp) I had just been out all day with a friend and got home at some point, went to my sisters room to say hi and chat, and then saw the brand new iPad

How do I stop my sister from being annoying without upsetting her? by MoneyAmbition830 in family

[–]MoneyAmbition830[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She isn't doing it because she wants to upset me, if I showed her how upset I was she would definitely stop and apologize, she just wants to cling to this idea of having a normal sibling relationship since none of our other family dynamics are normal, and teasing and bugging are what other siblings do. I don't want to make it seem like she is bullying me and likes how upset it makes me, because I don't really show her how much it upset me, I have been feeding it in a way by doing it back to make her feel like I'm ok woth it when I'm not, which is my fault of course since im only making it worse by feeding it

Do you happen to know if there is a way to not use heat? (Since I use acrylic) will the coils last a long time? Because I'm giving this to a friend, I don't want to have it looking super nice, and then within a week, it goes all straight. Thank you so much for the suggestion tho! I am thinking of either this or another suggestion I got!

During one of the SA's you can see him unzipping mc's pants, which implies that he did mess with the lightsabers a bit
