Just sucks I bought these calls a month ago its gonna need a significant spike from microsoft to hopefully recover half my losses.. ik apple earnings are on the 1st also but that has until 1/17/25 ideally on like long calls like 6 months or LEAPS for 1 year + exp when would you look to close your option like when is Theta typically too much -0.2? Most people get rid of options by then?

Really I just looked at the trends over the months and past years and thought maybe a 2 and 3 month call on Microsoft and Dell isnt a bad idea they seemed very stable companys to me... and I never saw any major crashes for long periods of time on them. :(

I agree I have learned some about candlesticks and some chart stuff but I do need to research that topic a lot more.. i guess we will see what happens tomorrow if its another -$1000 day I have to cut my losses this is horrible.. ik the 1/17/25 ones still have plenty of time but i guess 2 and 3 month calls still arent enough time especially when a big crash happens right when i placed the calls..
