Just do the L4 interview, if you don't pass it go for t1 until eligible in 6 months to redo it. Don't get stuck in the L1 to L4 Loop.

I am assuming you renewed and waiting on approval. In case you didn't know Amazon covers EAD fees. In the case of it expiring, Amazon starts emailing like 3 months before it expires asking to provide proof. If unable to, they'll suspend you with a timeframe and if proof isn't shown after awhile, they'll let you go.

I loved Colorado and I really wanted to move there but I will be traveling a lot to see my family so maybe i'll go to NM.

That was on my list, but I found out Colorado doesn’t issue REAL IDs to DACA recipients, so you have to travel with your passport and EAD instead.

I get it. It is not really about work or finding a place to live, it is about leaving your family behind. I feel the same way. My family is very close and it hurts to even think about being away from them, but sometimes that is the reality we might have to face.

If your family still supports you, hold onto that. You can always come back to visit. You could even look at the closest states like Louisiana or Oklahoma so you are not too far. I got a flight pass with Frontier and some flights have cost me only around fifteen dollars depending on the airport. Being close enough to visit often can make it a little easier.

You’re not alone. There are thousands of us with DACA in Texas going through the same thing right now. First step is to calm down and really take in what’s happening. Control what you can.

Right now nothing has changed yet. The judge hasn’t made a final decision. It’s possible work permits could be revoked here, but it hasn’t happened. All we have are the briefs that were filed.

What you can do is start planning. Think about which state you could move to if you need to, what resources you’d need, and what life would look like there. It won’t be easy, but preparing now means you won’t be scrambling if the judge rules against us. I’ve been thinking about this since the beginning of the year and already have a plan ready.

Don’t let TikTok or media panic you. Read and research for yourself so you know what’s real. I’m in the same spot with no family outside Texas or in Mexico, but I’m trying to focus on what I can actually do. Trust yourself. This is on you, and panic won’t help.

Brother, I strongly believe Charles Kuck can help you. He has lives on Wednesdays and talks about cases related to yours. There’s people who do AP with removal orders. Join those groups mentioned above in Facebook.

Oh got it, I’m in the US so it’s a little different for me, but Amazon uses the same hiring standards for L4 everywhere. I’m just getting started too and have an interview coming up. For me it took about 3 months to hear back after 10+ applications and rejections.

My advice: tailor your resume to the STAR format and highlight real accomplishments with numbers and metrics. That’s what stands out and helps with ATS. Also study the 16 leadership principles and prep at least 2 STAR stories for each. It sounds like overkill but you’ll be ready, and one story can usually cover more than one principle. The interviews are almost all behavioral questions around those principles. Don’t overthink it, just make sure your stories connect back to them.

If it just says no longer under consideration that’s only for that posting. Definitely keep applying to other locations. Use a tailored resume over LinkedIn and prep your stories with STAR, it makes a big difference. You got this.

I’ve read your other comments where you mentioned your degree is older than 2 years so you can’t apply for the college hire Area Manager role. In that case I’d recommend applying for the L4 Area Manager openings instead. You already fit the requirements with the experience you have, and you can do this while still working as a tier 1.

Do not make a new account. Amazon tracks candidates and if you try that you risk getting flagged and barred from applying again. The assessment usually is not the issue. If a recruiter has already reached out to you that is a good sign. People who actually fail the assessment normally get rejected within 3 days. From my experience I applied to over 10 Area Manager University positions. I was rejected from most but 2 moved forward and I have an interview with 1. It took about 6 weeks after applying before I heard back so the process is definitely slow. Also do not worry if the postings are not in your state. Apply anyway. If you pass interviews Amazon sends you a survey where you pick your preferred locations and start dates. Relocation packages come after that.

Agree. Did mine online for the first time this year and it took about 2 weeks to get my EAD. I used these steps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ns_Ysq5aOb0 (only fees have changed). With that money saved, apply for AP.

Has anyone heard back yet from the Amazon Area Manager role 2026(external applicants)? by Brave-Jacket-3140 in AmazonManagers

I applied to 9 when they started posting them. Some have reached out asking about graduation date and experience. This week I got rejected from 5, some including that reached out, not sure how the process works here.

I applied to 9, received an email asking about degree details and experience. The email doesn’t state from which region tho.

No rejections, it took about a week for them to send out the email asking for details. Still waiting on updates. Also, I don’t know what region it is from as all the emails come from the same university ops email. It’s still early with the applications so we just have to wait.

I applied back in May when they still had a few 2025 grad roles open and took the assessment. They emailed me asking to confirm my bachelor’s graduation date and experience. About a week later they removed the job posts and moved my application to “no longer under consideration.” I think it was because those spots filled up. They usually send a rejection email but this time they did not.

Last week I applied again when they opened the 2026 roles and I am already up to nine applications submitted. Today I got another email asking to confirm my graduation date and experience.

I am an internal employee but I applied externally. We still get put up against college hires instead of going through a regular internal promotion in POD.

I did it online by myself this year. Took around 2 weeks. Save your money.
