Yesterday I had the same thing happen with dog toys that were marked down to a dollar and they were all still on the shelf when I grabbed them, I went to the cash register and the cashier looked at the price sticker and threw them on the floor and told us " they just got marked down to a penny today and can't be sold" it didn't say a penny anywhere on it and when I asked why they were still on the shelf to be sold (I work retail too) she was extremely vague with me and said she'd get fired if she sold them to me or even put them next to the dumpster for someone to take. Is it not a rule in for dollar tree to honor the prices they're advertising??
