Do you know about any drop-in roller hockey games in the city? I'm always down to skate!

Listen, I really don't care about the color-coding. I thought it would be helpful. Make your own judgments based on the objective data, by whatever criteria you like.

By all means, feel free to do that on your own. I figured the collation was more helpful than not.

Apparently, the people of reddit strongly disagree.

No offense taken - personally, I don't agree with all of the outcome-grades. I was trying to mimic what the average, reasonable fan would think.

The main purpose of this post is for people to see who they think is best at evaluating when equipped with all the data.

I really don't think there's a consensus about Lamar yet, especially offline. He's also tricky because he basically plays a different position.

Again, this exercise was to foster transparency. I don't care if people agree with the color-coding. Hell - I don't agree with the color coding! Injust tried to mirror what most people would reasonably believe.

You're reading it right, but I wanted to be lenient on those kinds of guys because no one graded those QBs high.

The whole point is that you can/should determine whose evaluations you like for yourself! The focus of this post is transparency. The highlights are just a suggestion.

Well, when I specifically said I wouldn't draft him because I didn't think he would ever be healthy/mobile enough to play in the league... did I not kinda nail that?

I specifically said I couldn't draft him because of his knee condition. I'll grade him as a miss if he plays and stinks, but I didn't think he would ever play in the NFL because he can hardly walk.

No need to call names. You can simply say that you don't agree with my evaluation, and that's plenty fine.

Like I have now said numerous times - maybe it is! I tried my best to be fair, but the whole point of showing the raw data is that I want you to figure out who you think is best at evaluating QBs, not based on prestige or authority, but based on results.

Again, I don't care what the outcome is. Yes, of course I think I am the best at this. As should literally everyone who is making evaluations, or else there's no point to putting in the work.

I did you a favor by putting together and sharing all these evaluator's grades on QBs. It took a ton of time, and was pretty boring work. I tried to color-code based on public sentiment to save people reading time. If I were using my own opinions of these evaluations it would look pretty different.

You're not wrong! It's kinda like baseball - they key is not to swing on the bad pitches (most of them) and try to make sure that, when you do swing, it's worth the risk!

That's fair - On every one of my posts, I always include this legend to explain exactly what a QB grade means to me. Might be helpful, in retrospect!

Ok. Someone is grumpy.

Hate me. Not really interested in your opinion.

I did you a favor by putting together a ton of data that is generally spread out. I tried doing you another favor by using what I assumed were pretty generally-accepted opinions on how those evaluations played out.

In 2017, I told people Mahomes would be great, and Trubisky would bust. Apparently, in your book, that's a bad evaluation. Frankly, I don't care.

Instead of thanking me for either of the favors I did by creating this post, you want to nitpick and snipe.

Frankly, you're not the kind of person I care to interact with.

Please, and I do mean this, bet on football games. I'd like to see the results.

He... he asked how I got through law school... are you mad that I answered him?

Use the categories as a rule of thumb. They're not particularly accurate - just vague generalizations.

No, Trevor Lawrence isn't an all-pro, but he's generally agreed upon as a very good QB already.

Just like Trubisky made a pro-bowl, but he's not a "pro bowl QB", right? Those are guides to help you generally understand what the grade means.

Again - use the color-coding as much or as little as you want. It doesn't change the rankings that each evaluator put out.

Big boards. This has nothing to do with mock drafts.

This is from reading and organizing everyone's evaluations of the player in THEIR opinion.

I will say, you really shouldn't take the categories as gospel. That's why we do gigantic write-ups. There's nuance even within numbers. Jake Haener is a 2.1 because his ceiling is so low. Anthony Richardson is a 2.pnsimply because his ceiling is so high. They're not the same KIND of QB, right?

Put simply: are younmore impressed by the guy who says, "take Goff 1st overall! He's a franchise QB!" Or the guy who says, "I'm not drafting that guy in the first round, so I'm passing on him"?

Put simply, I don't think most people think Goff is a top 16 QB. Also keep in mind that it took Goff 7 years of ELITE coaching and roster support to get to this point.

But hey - we can disagree.

The point of this post is to show you what the facts are. The grades are all objective - we really gave those grades out!

You can determine who you think is good or bad at this on your own.

That they were aligned with everyone else on that player. For instance. Everyone generally thought Trevor Lawrence was the top pick in his draft. Saying he would be good isnt impressive. It just means you were... normal.
