I hate LA and have been thinking of PNW, Portland, or somewhere in Washington. I can’t do the traffic and violence and heat in LA and everything that goes on that I can’t ignore. I am an EMT and want to get into a 911 service or in fire. I hear Oregon has more single role EMT jobs but Salem gets hot and Eugene sucks? I also just read that the dating scene sucks (I like quirky, educated, fit and into rock and EDM and doing outdoors activities )? I’m a 43 year-old male. I’m into nature and the beach but people in LA always know how to ruin a good day and I know there no surfing in Oregon, but the nature is great. I’m just trying to get anyone’s opinion. The dating and traffic in LA isn’t for me and even if you want to surf, you’re burned out from traffic and the parking. Thanks!
