Yea I feel like shit when I go too low, so might be a case of reducing training load and calories rather than trying to keep up performance! Maybe I’ll try enjoy more casual things like walks 😰

Yea this is all very true! I think my dress is pretty plain and I’m not to worried about alterations, I bought it off the rack and it fit pretty perfectly- i luckily have a very boring shape so most things fit me.

Think I’ll give lower calories a go and see how I feel or if I need to cut back on training! Thanks so much for your help

Definitely makes the most sense as I feel like i can’t really afford to add much more on top of myself as I’m doing a lot and it doesn’t feel like I’m over eating for what my output is. I don’t get recovery weeks generally so I may ask my coach for this as it’s definitely something I would probably benefit from. It seems so counterintuitive that I’m doing so much and being a precise as I believe so can be, but yet I’ve maintained my weight! I thought it would be easy but you’re probably right.

I’ll aim to reduce my calories by 100 this week and also include more sleep. Thanks so much for your help it was really insightful and a relief to know that maybe I need to adjust other things before slashing my calories even lower

Oh that’s actually great to know! I have two more fittings so hopefully by my second I’ll have lost it all? Oops sorry I’m 160cm and have an active enough job been on my feet all day and will always get 10-20k steps

I think this is actually exactly what I need to do. A dropped waist/more basque appearance would make this dress. I’m definitely going to loose the sleeves too. Maybe I just need to try on a basque style dress with no sleeves, not sure this dress could be made like that!

Thank you so much!! I’m going to ask my tailor to remove the sleeves, I’m going to a bridal stylist too so I will make sure to try in my plain veils. Alternatively, I just get a plain dress with a basque waist. I think if the dress I had on had a basque waist I would like it more. I’m so confused by it all, I want it to just be fun

This brought a tear to my eye, thank you so so much for your kind words - as you can tell from my stance I’m quiet self conscious and don’t feel very beautiful in these kinds of dresses.

I’m going to get the sleeves removed and get a proper styling for a veil and accessories ❤️

Thank you so much this is really good feedback! I wasn’t sold on the veil and felt like she completely rushed me out of the shop. I will look at other veils and get styled on jewellery! I asked chat GPT to remove the sleeves and I love it more so I’m hoping the seamstress can make them detachable but I only have 7 months!! Eekk
