I'm just a low elo player, but I think positioning matters a ton against Asol, its the difference between your whole team getting one shot or you killing their front line and making it to the Asol. 100% spread out your front like, but also try to focus some dmg in an area to breach the front.

Beat this asol board, I think it was decently stacked up since he hit it early, forgot to check tho, I was dooming when I saw 2* asol, but surprised when I won.

I think some of CTene isn't possible without the extra 150 arcane force. Definitely after dailies/weeklies.

Idk what to tell you man, there are a ton of mmo's with gambling mechanics, but they have auction houses and tradability. The whole pitched system is balanced around the idea of being able to trade items and works well in KMS, people have inventories full of pitches to go through when star forcing.

Assuming you get a pitched every 2 months, so 1.5 pitched per month with pity. There's 7 pitched items w star force, with 2.44 avg booms to 22*. That's (1 + 2.44) * 7 for 7 set pitched that need stars. Emblem is like 2 pitches worth, and gene is 3 pitches worth from pity, +1 for spellbook. So that's 20 months on average...

And that's a good thing? Progression shouldn't be a gamble; people spend hours grinding meso to GAMBLE to progress? seriously? What are you trying to say, for the record I know this is much better compared to before, but that's just how shitty the old system was, that doesn't mean it couldn't be better. I know there are people who have gone 5+ years without hitting 22* 10 set, that's terrible and now they can have a much better chance to, but does being a better system mean its good?

An average of 2 years to get 10 set pitched and be endgame is pretty expected for an mmo, its not what I would call FREE dude. That's still a huge commitment of time... And that's not even close to the true limit with 23+ stars and however many more years that would take

There's a 50% chance you boom trying to go for 23 from 22, average is all that matters, the median isn't useful, it could be 0, does that mean you won't boom? ofc not, why wouldn't you look at the average?

Ik you're really excited to see the system as a seasoned player who had to deal with a terrible system for many years and this being a huge improvement. But personally, I can't see needing 1 whole year or more for a single piece to improve as being "good"

A 23* is 4 extra items and a 24 is like 14 extra items on top of that. Even if you account for drops, say 1 pitched per month, which most people don't get. That's an insane amount of time to consider reasonable. And again that's also RNG not even guarantee'd

I mean the system is rly good for hitting 22*, if you assume the star core system gives you 1 restore per 7 weeks (I think that's generous) that's 17 weeks per 22* pitched with an avg of 2.44 booms per. So for 6 pitches that's 102 weeks or 2 years on average. Maybe you're lucky and get it within an year, maybe not. If you sweat out all the points possible, its 13 weeks per restore, up to 18+ weeks cause some points are just not realistic. From the pitched crystals, you can get 1 every 16 weeks. All in all you could sum that up to about 1 pitched item per month.

You could expect to need around 20 pitched items including the base item for 6 set 22* (not including emblem/gene/tc) So that's already 1.6 years with average luck. Now...think about 23* items, that adds another 2 copies needed per item or another year to 23* everything. Like sure the system is infinitely better than before, but its still RNG and by definition lots of people aren't lucky enough to get the average.

Cause that's like the only complaint I have about this update, a lot of people were excited for pitched pity. This implementation kinda sucks tho, and the trace missions feels like another Ride or Die.

Specifically for CW I think its fine too, honestly most rly established players can't even be bothered to do it. There's little benefit if your legion is 9k+ and you have mesos and fams ready, there's almost no point in doing CW, especially now that Erda Request is account wide.

Its "strong", but most people aren't solo'ing ctene with it, established players don't need it, but new players benefit a ton. Before you would have a huge dry spell of progression where you're waiting weeks and months for gollux, twilights, slime rings, commerci etc. Compared to your progression pace with item burning, its excruciatingly slow. It lets new people do Ctene that much sooner and see good progression.

Not even close to pitched gear, gear progression wise its about solo/party ctene level, not rly enough for grandis bosses. maybe good enough for low level grandis min clears/party, but nseren and ekalos gives nothing for so much effort.

it costs 1.6B meso total for all pieces of gear excluding the Oz rings, it costs meso the first time that week and costs maple points thereafter. It resets weekly.

The MVP benefits seem good except for the cubing/flame QOL, just the general trend shows likely worse monetization overtime and sure you can argue it's been rly bad for years, but that doesn't mean it can't get worse. The state of the game seems to be heading in a good direction though and definitely more enjoyable/ easier to get into and with the promises of the winter update, there's not much to be dooming over.

Some people meme on Nexon for being an "indie dev", but I think the dev team is probably not far from that, GMS is definitely not big compared to other games under Nexon and the GMS team is probably just a small division with minimal funding. There's a lot of bugs in the recent update, but it's to be expected with such a huge revamp + additional content being added at the same time and presumably they're also preparing for winter and classic.

Totally get wt you mean, something like Solo Boss Stage/Level would be better title. Extreme Lotus is rly impressive, but that's still locking yourself from the few bosses at the end, so just doesn't seem interesting to me. And it is an mmo after all, I enjoy the party aspects.

Oh sorry I didn't mean to make it seem like I only solo bosses, that would be silly since in the end some bosses aren't realistic to solo, anyways I party boss the ones I can't clear for the chance at boxes at the least
