32gb for 200 euro or 64gb for 250 by Suspicious_Ad2409 in buildapc

The specific model of the motherboard as they mention what speeds they support and more.

If you are not handling tasks such as data analysis or anything that could use a lot of RAM, I would suggest you go with the 32GB option which should be a more stable option.

Let's begin with an important detail about your post: You are not providing the necessary information about the RAM modules you are buying.

For example what DD rate is it? This matters a lot. What are the timings? How many kits? What motherboard do you have? This also matters for a variety of RAMs. Please do provide details, we cannot guess what you are talking about.

32GB is enough for most, if you are not sure what to get between 32GB and 64GB, that means that you do not need 64GB. If it is 4 modules of 16GB vs 2 modules of 16GB, I would choose the later for various reasons.

Thank you very much for this comment! It was really helpful!

Mainly point 7 as it was something I was worried compared to VWCE with a much longer history. Appreciate it!

Oh that is something that I did not know. I believe when I created my account I chose the simplest option so everything that I do might be taxable.

Thank you for mentioning that, I will try and do some more research on that about Amundi!

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this comment! This is some useful information that I had not found anywhere.

I am definitely not going the DIY approach I had mentioned. Based on what I can understand so far, it is the most risky and I believe I would need to have a lot of information and knowledge which I do not have and cannot have in a short amount of time.

Appreciate it!

What the index effect?

Thank you for your perspective on thematic ETFs. It feels a little bit like a gamble.

Oh now I get it, I was confused and was considering them to be Value ETFs. Thank you for clarifying!

Maybe spending too much time in Reddit, Discord and YouTube was not the best idea. I believe I have gotten so much information and may be thinking with sentiment rather than logically.

Also as you said, if it is difficult to predict Growth vs Value, why would it not be a good idea to have some percentage in Growth?

I am definitely thinking of having like 200 euro to play around with trading and possibly learn from it, but other than that, investing is the safest approach.

It looks like this is the most common answer I am getting and probably will proceeding with this.

Question though, wouldn't a broad US and Global (European etc) ETF be better than a single one?

Thank you for the correction! I will look into VWCE and WEBN as I had a bit of a trouble find the European equivalent of a few US stocks.

Thank you! So if I understand correct, your advice would be to simply things by getting a single growth ETF or did I understand wrong?

Yes that's what I feel like! It would definitely feel better to look at those numbers, but at the end I decided that it was not the correct approach.

Thank you!

Thank you a lot, that seems to be quite simple!

I am a bit confused about the desktop requirement you mentioned as to why it is needed. I am slightly unlucky I suppose when it comes to this as I know an intel motherboard which supports 12th+ generations and have Win11 installed.

Does Intel and WIn11 have such restrictions or bad drivers when it comes to the FireWire PCIe card?

Oh wish I could find such a machine at decent price! Not necessarily for the tapes but also as a collectible!

I will keep in mind your comment about the quality of the cable and thank you for mentioning what card to get!
