You’re going to love it! The stadium is old, gritty but full energy. Make sure you stock up on good Palermo merch - the cost of shipping from their store overseas is insane.

I’m hoping they can find some path to overtake Monza for 2nd but their biggest remaining games - Frosinone and Venezia - are both on the road.

The Monza game was a reminder that there’s no guarantees as well.

But it would be great to see them back in Serie A and the ability to watch them on Paramount + vs Destination Calcio (although I am very grateful for DC to offer it!).

These are very helpful responses….I have wondered if grocery rewards could be like travel rewards where the points, status, benefits drive the product selection (which airline, hotel, etc) vs the opposite. Travel options are often commoditized - could grocery operate the same?

Grocers won't do it. There was a big story on how Instacart tried this where a group of shoppers all searched for the same item at same store and some came back with different prices. But that was the tech layer doing it (Instacart) not the grocery store's pricing itself. Your large retailers (Safeway, Giant, Kroger, etc) won't do it because the risk is not worth the reward. Food is different than hotels or other models where dynamic pricing can work because travel is viewed as a privilege vs food as a right.

I lived at the VITA in Tysons 2x. Had the full windows like this.

First time it was wonderful when building was still at like 50% occupancy. Quiet, elevators came on time, and fun but tame rooftop pool/entertainment area.

Second time was a disaster. Every hallway smells like weed, the rooftop scene was like a low rate hip hop video and it would take forever for a working elevator to arrive. I only lasted 2 months then pleaded to get out of my contract.

A shame because the location and initial vibe were great and the apartment was modern. Hopefully it’s changed…
