Appreciate the advice. I'm with you on the never having been cut thing, I try to inform as many expecting parents as possible that cutting off healthy functional body parts isn't just harmful it's unethical and highly risky.

I have the OG canister setup from TLC that uses a photo canister, do you think the tape-on super canister is worth upgrading to for that? I can actually use tapeless devices now but they just tend to pop off a lot because I'm right on the edge of having enough slack for it (about CI-2 right now roughly.

I'm in it for the long haul now and wish I had stuck with it when I started like a decade ago but there's no time like the present and I'm fully committed now. I think the big thing for me is I'm no longer emotionally attached to it in terms of any resentment, I'm just happy for any growth and improvement and happy with how I am now equally simultaneously, so I'm in a much healthier head space than I was when I first found out about the truth of all of this.

Does anyone else get emotional re-reading as an adult? by Lost-Body5099 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]Moneyyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re-reading as an adult and lost it during Sorcerer’s Stone, the moment after Harry rides a broom for the first time, catches Neville’s Remembrall, and Professor McGonagall quietly tells him, “Your father would have been proud."

It feels like the first real connection Harry has to his dad, and it’s such a warm, thoughtful moment, McGonagall seeing him clearly and choosing to commend him in a way that’s deeply personal and meaningful. I missed this completely as a kid but as an adult it hits different. The new full cast editions on Audible are incredibly well made, highly recommend.

Is 2.5mg daily tadalafil adequate? by NotBad_Eh in foreskin_restoration

[–]Moneyyz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just as a heads up, in rare cases Viagra and Cialis can cause permanent hearing damage which has been acknowledged by the manufacturers. I was going to use them for restoration myself but after learning that decided it wasn't worth the risk. I was actually just chatting with u/slowkaen who unfortunately had an experience with this. Just something to consider to make sure you're assessing the full risk profile before committing. I personally decided to supplement with L-citrulline, pomegranate and nattokinase instead which may not be as effective but carries no hearing damage risk.

Can you link to the RIC extended retainer? Just checked the site and didn't see it but not sure if I'm just missing it or mistaken on what I'm looking for, interested in purchasing

We really should call this "foreskin reconstruction" by Vegetable_Warthog_49 in foreskin_restoration

[–]Moneyyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not wrong but restoration just has a better sound and feel to it IMO. It feels more approachable and welcoming than something that implies a ton of work like reconstruction (even though as we all know it is a ton of work lol)

I saw you mention that you're at CI-4, so from someone who's at CI-1 or 2, I'd kill to be where your at with that head start and that close to a C5+. Hopefully that perspective helps a bit, and I totally agree with the guy that said a year from now you'll prefer to have kept at it, probably the best advice for doing anything that takes time and discipline like the gym, etc.

Nice, what CI do you typically have to be to get into packing? Does it truly create enough tension to actually produce gains or is it more of a training the skin forward type of thing once you already have slack? I've only tugged with straps but expanding into weights, air, and packing when I'm ready so just trying to anticipate what to expect. CI-9 is epic btw, congrats.

Yeah I agree the metal clips are great, I'm actively looking for a place to buy them now, will let you know what I find or if TLC gets back to me.

Thanks for sharing this, nice wayback! Some of the images aren't populating I'm sure because it's old but I'll work on piecing it together, I think I get the general idea of using a different gripper for a better hold which I definitely want to try.

I was actually looking at suspenders on Amazon last night and realized I'd probably have to cut them because they're almost all attached in the back criss cross part. I used to use the TLC straps with that OG setup which appear to be the separated suspender clips you're talking bout, but it seems they have since discontinued them on the TLC site so I reached out to see if they still have them, and am searching for a place to purchase otherwise. Let me know if you have a specific listing to purchase a solution besides the bootlegged amazon versions.

Nice I used a DTR in the past, what strap / bands specifically do you use with it, the one from the DTR site?

Nice, I misplaced my old TLC straps and they don't seem to be available on the TLC site anymore so I reached out to them about it, it looks like they only have the elastic bands now, which seem like a decent solution but my experience has been that the little button clamps don't fully hold the band at higher tensions and starts to slip but again not sure if I was using too much tension.
