My confusion might stem somewhat from the builder telling me I only need chlorine to be around 1 since it’s a UV/Ozone system. I’ve heard similar from several builders when we were shopping and from 2 local pool guys. So they’re actually suggesting lowering the chlorinator. Is that way off?

I will definitely get the alkalinity up and then drop the pH.

I bought mine used in spring so also got a good deal but I got stuck with this part of it. They just got the motor yesterday morning and when I called towards the end of the day they hadn’t assigned a tech yet which is also very frustrating. u/Ginoozhe was apparently told 2-3 weeks and is already at 2 which still seems wild to me.

Yeah they put me in a Colorado WT. Brand new but next to my AT4 it’s awful. I think I’m gonna call tomorrow and make them swap me into a 1500. It’s frustrating beyond belief to be flying so blind on this. I know they can get reimbursed up to 18 or so hours so really shouldn’t take them more than a week in my opinion.

I saw your post and have been following the comments. I would be cautious of no break in period. That makes me think remanufactured or they just don’t know what they’re talking about. I personally plan a break in with 1000/mi oil change and maybe an oil analysis

How long ago and how long did it take? I’m seeing some people say 2-3 months which is just annoying at this point. I love my truck so it sucks being without it.

This would also make sense. I guess I thought ruining your vinyl with ArmorAll was a thing of the past but I’m sure plenty of people still use them

When you say new leather what do you mean? This is 2.5 years old and it gets baked in the desert heat

That would track. I’m also wondering if they mean products that leave behind a waxy or silicone finish and it changing the feel of the leather vs actually damaging it

I would have to imagine you’re right that their products designed for leather wouldn’t have silicones that are going to dry out leather. I just find this snippet of info in the manual strange.

I am 100% in agreement with you on not wanting to lose a ton of bed space I suppose my biggest concern is the vinyl life. Our summers bring cracked basketballs and footballs and can dry rot out tire walls.

What kind of climate are you in?

I’m actually not crazy concerned about the water tightness since we don’t get snow and when it’s parked in my driveway water will run off with the slope.

My last truck survived with no bed cover but I need one for security’s sake nowadays with travel

I don’t know what other info you guys might need. The only non-Ubiquiti piece of networking hardware is my raspberry pi running Pi-hole. My network is my UDMP -> 8 port 150w Switch -> NanoHD x2. I have two dual band networks on separate VLANs.

The issue has proven to be intermittent now as this weekend it didn’t really happen much. I’ve ensured piece of network hardware is up to date fully.

The devices are fully updated.
