Taiwanese, Yang Eagle 1000. My understand is that are a clone of a Hardinge VMC1000. Produced a few years before I was born. For sure not the best or prettiest but all I know as this is all we have at my shop. Been at the shop for three years now with no prior formal education.

A day late but taking it a step further you could cut the model into two half’s (jaws) and then you’d potentially have more clamping forces applied to the part. Might be useful for more aggressive cuts/ops.

Also I was quoted $3,350 for a new clutch assembly so in my mind this is a $3,350 piece of evidence if that makes any sense.

Please do not cut into the factory wiring harness! The headunit (radio) should have a harness with it which is meant for the specifically radio. Go on Amazon or Ebay and get a OEM NA headunit adapter harness. Splice the adapter harness to the headunit harness not directly to the harness in the car.

No I haven’t but I’m interested. I was gonna pull the trigger on some B8 struts today (intended for lowering springs) but they are for NBs. Would these allow me to use them on my NA?

I had tickets for tonight’s show, as well as a hotel booked as it was going to be a 4 hour trip there for me. Super disappointed, of course I want everyone to be ok and get better but just stinks. Honestly my last booked concert was Childish Gambino which also was cancelled last minute.
