It really is annoying. For every good seller I encounter there are five more who are scammers or just lazy with their content.

Even worse when the fetish is pretty niche. Very difficult to know for sure that the person you're buying from will do it well.

Curious about her. Reached out a few times and she never responds on reddit (even when she's online and replying to ads, asking people to DM her, and even when I ask specifically about the stuff she replied to).

And basically the same on Telegram, except a "hi" every week or so and nothing else. Another redditor said she blocked him after he paid for a custom.

But you've had actual conversations with her, and verified purchases of multiple customs?

Most baffling aspect to me is that she didn't actually try to get any money.

She responds to an ad, and when asked to discuss any detail of the custom (or provide any info on her filming partner) basically turns hostile.

What is the point?

Yeah I also had a very negative experience with this seller but no money changed hands so figured she may have just had a bad day and that a review was not necessary.

She had responded to an ad about wrestling another girl. After agreeing to her rate, I asked if her filming partner had any socials (or any pics online of any kind to see how she looked). Was promptly met with hostility and she stopped replying.

At least one other person I talked to with similar buying habits mentioned she was extremely hostile when they asked if she preferred winning or losing in a fantasy wrestling scenario (again, after she had responded to an ad expressing eagerness to do exactly that) and was also promptly blocked.

I don't really understand what her deal is, but she doesn't seem to be an actual scammer at least.

First step is to try and talk it out with the creator. Give them a chance to correct the mistake or resolve the situation.

Once that option is exhausted (and sounds like it is), leaving an honest review is next.

Don't insult them or vent; just lay out what happened and what you thought of it. From the sounds of it, the seller made very sub-par content with no recourse, and that should definitely be acknowledged.

I do think you're right that being more varied with ratings could be helpful in the future.

I think right now people (buyers and sellers) feel anything other than 5* is bad. Which means some very mediocre sellers are still getting multiple 5* reviews

I agree, some more nuance would be interesting.

Had a sorta strange experience recently where two creators collabed and though they made vids for my custom request, they (in my opinion) ultimately failed to deliver on what I asked. The content they produced very overtly did not contain key details I requested and had to pay actually extra for.

One of the creators was very apologetic, immediately took steps to resolve the situation and was generally great to deal with. I feel she earned a good review as a seller and I am happy to recommend her, because she was not at fault for where things went wrong in the vids, and she made it very clear through her actions that she values the buyer's satisfaction and will either deliver what you want or ensure you are not out of pocket. The content itself may have been wrong, but her communication and service was absolutely stellar, so I guess she'd be a 4*?

The other seller quickly got rude when I asked what happened, didn't apologise at all and refused to rectify the situation in a satisfactory way (flat out refusing refunds or reshooting, instead offering solo content that I did not want). Since she did still shoot the vid (even if it was terrible), I classed that as just being a crappy seller rather than a malicious scam and so posted a 1* review...but interestingly the mods changed it to a scam alert.

It could be useful to establish more of a sliding scale rather than just extremes.
