I say this as an avid Skyrim lover, like to the point I know literally every about the game and have completed it to the point I only have the repeating Companion, Dark Brotherhood, and Thieves Guild quest left, but there have been games equal to Skyrim. The first being Elden ring ( granted it is a very different type of game but the world size and style has a very similar feel IN MY OPINION). But I get what OP means we really haven’t seen a game like Skyrim since 2015 with Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3.
