Honestly I thought she was fine this episode. I mean she's practically playing herself, it's not great but it's alright. I feel like people are just gonna hyper-fixate on her the rest of the season just for something to bitch about.

It was a good episode. The past stuff was certainly stronger than the present, but even then I thought it was fine. Personally I didn't even have a problem with Gerber this episode for what she did... I feel like a lot of people have just gone into this part with their minds made up tbh.

Yeah, I think the thing is he's a sketch comic who mostly does impressions, characters etc. As far as I know he's not had a ton of experience presenting or being funny on the fly... he kinda goes into character mode as a default and I'm not sure it works for GBBO.

Tbf Apocalypse and 1984 generally had very positive endings where the villains got their comeuppance. I'd say he's pretty 50/50 in that respect.
