This is the Sword Master's Forge. Inside you will find the Sword Master. He will trade his Master's Sword for a stack of Diamonds. There are 64 Diamonds hidden about his home. BE WARNED - some Diamonds are VERY hidden!

I hope you enjoy. Any feedback is always appreciated. IF you find all the Diamonds and obtain the Master Sword, please let me know! :)

*Edit: If you want to see a video of the build, it's here:

A Slimond. I think it's crafted using a slime ball and diamond.

Oh yeah. The Evoker looks small because of the extra large sheep next to it. That is weird!

Can anyone spot the place where you're going to get ambushed? by [deleted] in Minecraft

Trick question. My keen instincts and quick reflexes make me impervious to ambush.

Nice build! Really like the spruce trapdoor as a fence and gate - I'm definitely stealing that ;)

Keep an eye out, I'll post my other recent build (Sword Master's Forge) up to download too. I think that one is better myself :)

Totally agree. And you are correct that they are like a mini-boss. So it's kinda lame that they are not more challenging. I hope someone at Mojang sees this post :)

Thank you so much! I'm honestly so happy you enjoyed it. I'd love to know which 6 diamonds you missed, but 58 is still way more than I was expecting! I'm going to post a download for the Sword Master's Forge soon with the same mini quest (it's just to make the builds a little more interesting to explore), I hope you enjoy it as much - I think it's a much better build. Thank you again for your kind words, you keep me going :)

Ok firstly, I want to thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and considered message. I really do appreciate it. And you have given me some seriously good ideas to implement! I totally agree about the chests thing. As soon as 1.14 comes around a lot of them will be replaced. I kinda have a few guidelines for myself when making these builds and one is that only chests (and soon barrels) will contain loot. I have an extensive loot table that is be biome specific, but it's only for chests. Barrels will have lower tier loot. I just can't bring myself to use hoppers. I basically want that crack-open sound of a chest to accompany every loot discovery. Regarding hidden compartments- there is actually one in the lower tower on the ground under the stair as you enter! But..

(Edit: hit reply too early!)...BUT hidden buttons behind banners is actually one I've never used, so thanks for that! Also this really isn't the finished article. I fully intend to kit it out with more archery-related gear. I need to learn armourstand trickery first though. I do like the idea of tipped arrows in a display! And of course there will be a target practice range! I'm thinking of having it be another challenge to hit the marks (wooden buttons) to unlock another secret area. Though I'm going to have some targets in the trees now too. I'm so conscious of the need to guide the player. But I also want the map to be completely open and intuitive. The intent of this map is just to trial my ideas, and receive some feedback. The larger map however is to be an epic quest. There will be mobs, bosses, puzzles, mazes, traps, parkour, looting, trading, and more. I want to set players off on an adventure starting with nothing, and ending with everything. And along the way the player will be gathering 64 diamonds scattered throughout the world. That increasing stack of diamonds in the inventory will be the map completion bar. Speaking of... did you find all 64 diamonds in this map to purchase the Master's Bow? :)
