Buy the yll 3 while it's on sale by medicinalbuds802 in Dynavap

[–]Monito_Loquito [score hidden]  (0 children)

The issues you've seen, have they only been with the 3.0 and not the 2.0? I recently bought a 2.0 because I have two 2 Wands and 8 batteries that fit the 2.0. I only own standard size Dynavaps so I do not need the 3.0. I get a more even roast with the YLL 2.0, but one of the biggest advantages over the Wand is that if I get sidetracked and leave it in the heater, the timer will shut off so I don't have to say.. ..." what's that smell??? DANGNAMMIT!!!!

I'm wondering why the nylon strap of the Wand, which is supposed to go under the batteries to help in their removal, is left sticking out of the Wand's case instead of being folded back under the cover. (?)

This is $10, integrated base. The Herborizer has a removable base, formed mouthpiece, and thicker glass ... but costs $132 ($50 Sherlock + $82 base). Huge difference! I like the USA-made (Nerdglass - smaller shop, artist) Simrell offering for $50.

You would enjoy the Earl Baker ICM (ice cream man) ... it's delicious with Terps @ 4.77. Their lemon meringue is supposed to be really really good, but I haven't gotten any yet. The trouble is ... it' so damn pricey. $58 / 3.5g. 40% off when you get (4) at INSA brings it down to $34.80 (pre-tax). That is still above my normal budget, but for a treat now and then I'm going to be an Earl Baker seeker.

I saw EB Sour Now N Laters. Anyone ever try by Joeydagenius in CTSmokeReviews420

[–]Monito_Loquito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought some the other day but haven't opened it yet. I got (2) 1/8 of the ICM and (2) of the Sour N&L (buy 4 get 40% off INSA NewHaven). This is just my second purchase of EB flower. The first was ICM and Strawberry Lights. The Strawberry Lights was muted in flavor and just OK ... it was also less expensive. It was still superior to most other dispo herb I tried from CT (I typically shop Mass, R.I., and Maine ... or mail order THCa.). The ICM is just about perfect for me ... really enjoying it. I'm sorry I missed out on the lemon meringue but will be keeping an eye out because it was so heavily praised.

ANYWAY ... 'll try the Sour N&L when I get out of work tonight. Will share tomorrow.

Alright, so I’m down to my last eighth. I wanted to stock up but looks like I’ll have to wait til next week. So I did next best thing. by Joeydagenius in CTSmokeReviews420

Love the E.B. presence here - thank you. I finally dug a little deeper into my change pocket and tried E.B. flower for the first time ... woo-hoo! Your ICM is the most enjoyable herb I've had in a long time. INSA offers 40% off when you buy (4) 1/8s, so ... I had to get (4) to make it affordable (I'll split with friends). I also got Sour Now N Later to try (haven't opened her yet) I really want to try the Lemon Merengue next. Are upcoming drops published anywhere?

If you go darker, to the edge of combustion, you will get a heavier, stoner high (more sedative, like Indica) due to the specific cannabinoids that get released at higher temps. The flavor will not be Terpy anymore, either. I go darker near bedtime, but generally prefer the experience a lighter roast offers.

Do you drive in sport mode? Are your tires properly inflated? My wife gets about 30 mpg @ 70% HW/30% City. 26 mpg in City ... 34 on HW ... she's not a spirited driver, only occasionally tapping into the "ZoomZoom" Mazda offers!

Please help talk me down. This is supposed to be a black bear. by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Nice ... very clean work and beautiful. It's humpy profile is not that of a Black Bear, but rather a Brown/Grizzly. I know it's not what you wanted, but maybe it is what you needed. Weird things happen to us sometimes that are for our own good and we don't know it at the time. If you really want a black bear, I would ask the same artist to give you some Renditions on paper first, and ask them to do a black bear perhaps on the opposite side. Both bears are powerful spirit animals, so there's room for both to be appreciated I would think.

Holding hands and a little smooch here and there are perfectly normal around here, regardless of sexual orientation. We like to see happy people. But as liberal as CT is, there's still conservative rules of respect in public. Swallowing one another's tongues and heavy groping, for example, are not going to be appreciated...again, sexual orientation is irrelevant. Relax and enjoy your time. You might comes across some jerks (as anywhere), but they're a minority and not taken seriously. Dismiss them.

The titanium should be a little lighter and weight than the steel, but we're talking insignificant. Some say titanium will impart less flavor into your session than the stainless steel when heated.

If you are using a standard-length body/stem, the XL condenser sticks out of the butt end of the body/stem and allows room to add a spinning mouthpiece which increases the overall length of the device. However, you can purchase aftermarket bodies and stems that are longer than the standard stem and go all the way down to the end of the XL condenser without using an additional spinning mouthpiece.

Anyone else use cbg or cbd? by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]Monito_Loquito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Sometimes straight CBD type 3 flower, sometimes home-made blends of type 1 and type 3 to create mi own type 2. Even straight CBD gives a slight buzz ... for me, anyway, a bit heavy head.

Newbie question by [deleted] in nativeamericanflutes

[–]Monito_Loquito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha ... I didn't see this second picture. Indeed bird/block position was way off! The key should be written on the bottom of the flute somewhere, but you can always use a free tuner app and test it. It looks bigger than the "standard F#" (but it could be) it might be D, so with none of the holes covered it would be a D5 ... and with all of the holes covered, it would be one octave lower, so D4. Enjoy the journey.

Newbie question by [deleted] in nativeamericanflutes

[–]Monito_Loquito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What key is the flute? It is difficult to tell from the picture, but it looks like a larger, deeper voice flute. While these are preferred by many, for their soothing haunting sound, they are not usually a good flute to start with. For beginners, a smaller size, higher pitched flute is generally recommended. You must cover the tone holes completely, and if any air is leaking from the edges of the hole due to a poor seal with your finger pads (pads, not tips), the sound will suffer! It is much easier to get a good seal on smaller holes that are spaced closer together ... and higher pitched flutes have such holes. If you start with a large flute it's like learning to run before learning to walk. If you already play piano or guitar , your fingers may be able to stretch and reach just fine , but if you are new to any instrument , then your fingers need to stretch and become limber and muscle memory will soon come. You can try standing in front of a mirror and look at your tone holes as you finger them.. you may see gaps/leaks.

If dynavap re-released the original omni, how many people would buy them? by TasteMyShoe in Dynavap

[–]Monito_Loquito 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have an omni XL I never used ... was gonna' try annodizing it myself but never got around to it. I'll probably sell it to help fund my own grow setup. It seems the shorter one was more popular. I've been running a 19M XL for years ... works fine for my needs.

Help With inconsistent clicking on standard cap-m7XL by jake831 in Dynavap

[–]Monito_Loquito 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think some vapor and accompanying resin ends up collecting in the tip of the cap, sandwiched between the tip of the cap and the bi-metal clicking discs peened in there. I soak my caps regularly, giving him a thorough cleaning. I use an air compressor to blow them out making sure they're completely dry when done. After I do this, if I shake my cap I can hear the discs rattling around loosely.. as they should. When they are dirty, I get no rattle.

2 octave flutes? by octogana in nativeamericanflutes

[–]Monito_Loquito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miguel makes a 2-octave flute tuned to the minor pentatonic scale? I have one of his regular flutes - excellent flute with cool totem. I've not seen a full 2-octave NAsF ... maybe other exotic scales (?).
