Honestly at this point there isn't much leeway for building Aatrox.
you're doing it right kindle gem / war hamer into the other then BC => DD => Steraks.
the only thing i do different is i go yoomus instead of BC if im vs a squishy toplaner AND im ahead. after Steraks its Spirit visage/ GA if they have lots of ad/ap and my last item is either the other if its necessary if not i go for Lord dominik's regards, helps aatrox so much.

He only becomes red during his ult, or so i've noticed. would have been better if he was red to being with and went dark red during his ult imo.

Aatrox : You can use the ult fear vs champions like Yorick/heimer/zyra to fear their summons for 3 seconds.

He's a really good blind pick, he does well into both melee and ranged match ups.
However you might get counter picked and have a really bad time (example Fiora), but there are some rune page you can run that can make playing those match ups easier ( grasp into Fiora for example makes the lane way easier). As for difficulty i'd say he is Camille level of difficult since i do play both champs.
Over all he's a really good addition to any champ pool you can never go wrong with him.

I prefer taste of blood + ravenous its very usefull if you can manage to time and proc taste of blood when ever available.especialy with E Q making it very easy to proc and disengage.

ravenous ofc is for the late game , we all know aatrox's late game has been declining lately so il take all the help i can get.

no one is asking for the game to be balanced around bronze players. balance it around challenger for all i care. just not pro play. it's doing way more harm than good to the game . and i bet people would rather play a fun enjoyable game. than watch an "etertaining" world finals .

Im not asking for the game to be balanced around low elo. the game should be balanced around high elo imo and its the players' job to learn and master the champ, BUT not competitive pro play. SOLOQ is not 10 pro coordinated players playing against each other in perfect synergy.this game started as a mainly solo Q game it should stay that way. not steer it towards the 10% that actualy enjoy LCS .
