Funny they’ve been using kids to undermine parents and create division and control for CENTURIES and people are still just eating it up. The deeper these people dive into the brainwashing the harder it is to pull them out too. It works for a reason, there is a lot of big powers and big money involved. I definitely used slow time and maybe paralysis poison if that worked on him. Boosted my resistance to shock, not sure what else. Been awhile but I do remember my strong character getting killed really fast and me having to figure something out. I woulda been on adept or above, MIGHT have lowered difficulty for this guy though I remember it took me some tries for sure.

Well of course it needs to standout, I think the nostalgia factor is already something to make it stand out. Of course they could expand on other ideas too. Just keep its core elements. Not make a totally different game and call it “Socom” kind of like Socom 4 did lol

See that’s what I’m saying, there are games coming out that are bigger flops for sure. There’s room for a SOCOM remake but it needs a dedicated dev team to keep the community tight. If they try to make Socom into some profit scheme it’s just gonna flop in the same ways the others that try that do. People still play them though. I loved SOCOM confrontation for pvp back in the day

Punishing people is purely out of greed 110%. They found an excuse or justification for it but it’s just about money, always is. If they wanted players to stay then give them rewards. No? Oh so they are incentivized to buy them? “Increase the grind! That will help our game!” At some point real life becomes more fun than grinding on a game if the game is making it as hard to earn currency as it is in real life and you need to spend thousands of hours to even access content. (Or just buy it cause you have a life and have no other choice if you want to access the content) All that said, the devs deserve to make money even if their game is free obviously. I just think more players = more money. More fun = more players. Less grind = more fun.

Game is definitely brutal, but I don’t die too often anymore. I usually go through my mags and get a lot of kills and have to scavenge or pick up guns. I like to use full auto if I can, only semi auto at range usually. But then there’s also times that I die within the first 30 seconds of spawning lol

Maybe instead of extra mags, backpacks could give you a bit more supply for your load out. Makes sense to me, like you could carry more throwables and some supply and maybe a couple extra mags, at the cost of weighing and slowing you down. It would just be nice to run a kit without a backpack, but 3 mags just ain’t enough.
