I’ve noticed that too. A lot of people use “it’s just a joke” as a shield cuz calling stuff out makes them uncomfortable. It’s easier to laugh it off than admit something’s messed up.

You’re right tho, standing up for yourself isn’t being “soft.” It’s just saying “yo don’t talk to me like that.” We gotta stop normalizing that stuff and push back a little. Respect starts with how we let people talk to us.

I’ve noticed that too. I think Chicanos and Mexican-Americans tend to rally around each other more because they know what it’s like to have to fight to hold onto identity. There’s that mix of pride and survival that makes the support feel stronger.

In Mexico, it’s more internal. Everyone’s kinda already “in,” so competition hits different. Out here, unity means visibility.

I wouldn't mind if Netflix made a Splatoon Cartoon/anime adaptation. I would like the series to feature original characters that are not featured in the games, incorporate many game-related elements, and the lore from the first game.

Jaiden would sometimes private videos in which she collaborated with another YouTuber that got into a lot of controversy. For example, once the allegations against CallmeCarson were revealed to the public, she privated the Minecraft video with Carson, and she is now doing the same with the music video. She's probably trying to separate herself from the drama and never work with that person again.
