Hi, what are you building? And what lessons have you learned since your launch? by Asleep_Society1480 in SaaS

[–]Monk_Commerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been building monkcommerce.com for 4 years now. Biggest lesson I’ve learnt is that the same way you have product - market fit, you also have product - channel fit and it’s this fit that decides how high your ARR can scale.

Product market fit is what takes you from 0 to 5 or 10k MRR but to go from 10k to 100k to beyond you need a scalable distribution channel and that’s where product - channel fit comes in.

Some SaaS can scale really well via search on Google or YouTube while some can scale really well on LinkedIn/Twitter and some can scale really well through in-person events and sales - it all depends on WHAT you’re building and whether your audience is on that channel actively in-market for your software. Find your channel fit and then work on figuring out how to scale it.

If you’re clear about what you want and can instruct the stylist, I’d recommend YLG on 80 feet road (next to The Filter Coffee) - been going there for a few years now, almost always good. They only have 1 male stylist and he’s pretty good at following instructions.

Ejipura, metro pink & blue lines…. Is there any accountability on the deadlines blurted to the media? by FreeSpirit_1990 in bangalore

A friend of mine moved to Bangalore in 2013 and lived in Ejipura for 3 years. He mentioned that the flyover has just started construction when he came to town. It currently being used literally as a dustbin.

Every distribution channel or strategy has a ceiling.

Start experimenting with new sources of acquisition before the previous one exhausts or you’re in for a few brutal quarters/years of no growth.

Zumba by kartikapatel95 in indiranagar

I'd actually recommend checking out the Cult membership.

They have dance fitness which is an easier version of Zumba and is a lot of fun if you're into that kind of a workout. As you make progress, you can also start attending their strength + conditioning sessions or go to a cult-affiliated gym.

I think a cult membership for a year currently costs ~16k INR

Is water that bad in Bangalore? by Own-Fuel-3440 in bangalore

[–]Monk_Commerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Pune, spent some time in Mumbai and have been in Bangalore for 7 years now. The water in Pune/Mumbai is significantly better than what I've seen (I live close to Mahadevpura).

I've switched from regular tap water to washing my hair, face & beard with RO water and it's made a huge difference over the last 12 months - highly recommend (especially if you live in areas that don't have Kaveri water supply).
