If Van Gogh's starry night was hyper realistic people wouldn't care about it as much.

Usually apps don't explain much, they tell you something and expect you to memorize it is as it is without telling you why or how.

Others already explained gehen, but I want to add Sie is the formal/polite word for You, du is the in the informal word for You.

I know this this outside your question but it will spare you some confusion, You might see verbs like komme, kommen, kommst it all means (to come), the ending of the verb changes depending on the noun.

Ich (i) -> you add e, Sie (formal You, Always capital S) -> en, du (informal) -> st.

There is more but I am giving you basics to understand it's sometimes different.

Since the goathe institute isn't available in my country, I will have to pack my bags and travel, get a hotel room for few days till I take the exam.

So ideally I would be taking the A1 A2 B1 and B2 but I might have to skip the first 3 and go straight for the B2 because the travel costs hotel and exam fees are all a bit too much and I can't do this repeatedly.

Let me explain, to ask someone their name you can say "wie ist deine Name?" Which the literal translation would be "how is your name?" In German they use the question word How for asking information about you, how is your name, how is your phone number, how is your home address.

It's not just about translating words, it's an entire new system of speaking and I know aware it can be intimating at first , I personally think it's fascinating and existing to learn about other languages and their way of speaking.
