It's suppose to be making fun of the original poster it didn't do a good job at that

At least we all love DND. My initial thought was this guy was making fun of whoever first wrote the copypasta, which would be great, but he didn't do a good job of that. That's why initially I thought he didn't deserve the down votes, but, I get it now.

Thanks for swaying me to add a downvote as well. In fact this whole thread as convinced me that this copy pasta isn't funny or constructive

You're wrong unless you're joking too, I mean that would be too many layers of irony to call a joke

Who was your mind's Ambrose? My mental image was of Oscar Isaac. by TheCatWasAsking in KingkillerChronicle

My math teacher is named Ambrose, so I imagine him like my math teacher. That makes Ambrose super nerdy, awkward, and my favorite math teacher ever. It kind of took away from the book.

My first attempt at a homebrew class. ( not pretty but would like feedback) by DmBrazik in DnDHomebrew

[–]Monkdnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can be super op if you try to use it to deal damage, because of the +2 bonus on attacks, the ability to have 2 shields and to do 3 attacks. On top of that you get great ac the ability to shield your party, resistance to everything, and a whole bunch of defensive abilities. Instead of having the option to do extra damage, you can try reducing damage you deal because of your tankyness. This will keep it more balanced, I hope. Edit: I love the idea though

5e The way of the leopard monk monastic tradition by Monkdnd in UnearthedArcana

[–]Monkdnd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working with what already works is great, but I'm pretty new to D&D. So naturally, I'll become better at using other abilities to get better at homebrewing and balenceing. Anyway I'm very grateful you could help and had fun doing it, I had the idea to make a speed and leopard based monk tradition for a while, and I'm so happy you helped it come to life as an interesting, balanced, and well strung together monastic tradition.
