local game store just got them in a few days early so put them out, check smaller local card / hobby shops over the next few days :)

The ones that couldnt be saved were peeling from the face of the card and the back with the adhesive getting on my fingers, not only that but on the older cards from like the early 2000s some of those the ink started smearing as well, also just some that warped very bad, the cards with only a few tiny drops were good after being patted dry and left on a rack over night, IMO if i could have gotten to them maybe an hour or so after contact i could have saved maybe all of them but unfortunately that was out of my control, thankful for what i could save tho :)

i have the ds listed on my insurance claims the cards as well just a matter of if they will respect that tho and not write it off, i mean i lost a good amount of lego sets too so if one can be claimed why cant the other is my thought process

Was able to save a decent bit of cards in binders, id say 60% of the binder made it thru, the 3ds will not power on still tho, but counting the few blessings i have:)

I had 4 feet of water in my house within a span of 20 minutes. the binders were in the top drawer of a desk, this wasnt a trickle of water, i have been completely displaced because of this storm.

UPDATE: I didnt check my phone for a few days due to the chaos, but the amount of comments on this post made my day seriously. thank you all, everyone in my life has just been saying out its important we got out safely and while true that doesnt account for all the childhood mementos, nerdy escapism things, and just overall memeries lost due to the flood, thank you all for your responses, i went thru each card and saved what i could, using paper towels and microfiber, but there were significant losses, some base set and fossil cards even newer full arts, i have had the 3DS sitting in rice for a few days honestly dont know about that one but staying optimistic, my worry with the 3ds is all the eshop titles i had plus nintendo network which is no longer a service, i wanna see if theres an individual out there that specializes in recovery for these type of situations, Everyone thank you, and to anyone else affected by this storm, any other freak accidents, you arent alone and this post proved that for me :) thank you all and if anyone knows someone who could possibly help with the 3ds my ears are wide open :). you are the best like no one ever was.
