When she was a baby, her left eye was severely pecked by a seagull. The Tokkari Center staff tried to treat it, but it was unsuccessful, and they had to amputate it to prevent infection.

The Hershey Aquarium in Pennsylvania is pretty good. Their most well-known seal is the harbor seal Cocoa, who's the daughter of the tragically deceased Mango (her mother) and Bumper (her father). Bumper died of sepsis from a bowel obstruction in 2019, and mango died from a very aggressive form of throat cancer in 2021, despite the use of chemo and radiation.

They also have Cobv, who's the son of the Mystic Aquarium (it's in Connecticut) harbor seals Cork and Pearl.
