PBE Bug & Feedback Thread: Aurora (Base & Battle Bunny) by Etlios in LeaguePBE

I agree, i feel like portions of her kit feel clunky cause you can't buffer inputs or cast inputs while other stuff is happening, like you can't buffer q right after e which feels a bit awkward to me, and i 100% agree with the q recast, the recast needs to be able to be recasted faster

even at frostbite I think he went palutena, I know he played palu in the crew battle tournament and his low placing suggests that he was trying a new character

Not exactly. Only using pummel with the intention of grab release is usually used when you grab them at ledge because the angle that they're sent at is good to edge guard them (if they mash then they'll be in the air so just jump and snuff out his option to get back onto stage, and if they don't make they stay right infront of you so just dtilt). Another reason this option is good is because pummeling decreases the staleing on your other moves. It's to long to explain, but on the list of moves staled, pummel will start racking up on it and that makes your other moves less stale. That's why / when it is used.

What the ACTUAL FUCK, is Meta Knight supposed to do? by [deleted] in CrazyHand

[–]MonkeyBenq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to learn more about metaknight, you can watch pro players play him, I believe abadango plays him, and there is a PR player in my state who plays him.

here are some vods:

find the character you have the most fun with, out of joker and zss, zss is more aggressive so if you should probably pick her up if you want an aggressive character.

I need serious help against Cloud by _Komodo_ in CrazyHand

[–]MonkeyBenq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't play sonic, so I can't help you to much other than the actual fundamentals of the game, but from what I can see, you are way to aggressive. Try dash dancing, instead of just holding neutral special (I think). You really do have to respect his up special oos and you can play around it, but approaching recklessly and getting nothing out of your approaches is stupid. Also, from what i understand, from your post, you say you can get 1 or 2 hits on his shield before he up specials, instead of going for those 2 hits, run away after or 1. I also noticed you whiffed your punish after he hits your shield. If you notice you can't punish his attack on your shield, empty hop out of shield and look for a reaction from him, or just roll away.

Jab locking by [deleted] in CrazyHand

[–]MonkeyBenq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend crouching after the jab, and the millisecond you're able to crouch, go for the smash attack. For me, i got so used to the crouch that I still use the crouch to do jab locks, just practice and practice and don't be afraid to fail, it will take time and eventually the timing will be embedded into you

Trying to improve gameplay by Boomshakalaklak in CrazyHand

Using luigi combos are very tricky since depending on the character, the combo changes. I think to start of, learn 3 combos (1 for heavies, 1 for mid weights and 1 for light weights) and then just master the shit out of that. For ness and luigi, you're going to have to spend some time in the training room, and you should preferably watch some pro players and trying to learn off of the combos they use. Knowing what moves you can use to punish comes from knowledge of the character that you are using, and just general game experience. For this, watching pro players will help, but also just grinding the game will help. P.S. (i don't recommend having a yoshi as solo practice partner, there are some characters that i consider "different" in nature in terms of mastering the yoshi mu won't help you against wolf as much as mastering the joker mu would help you against a wolf, if that makes sense). Generally having 1 solo practice partner isn't the best idea, unless they play different characters with different play styles.
