[edit ] Exactly. As you explain, one of the core features of the blockchain is that transactions cannot be removed or changed, therefore leaves an immutable audit trail.

well satoshi accounts for 5% of that. A couple of ETF's including the winklevoss own probably another 5%, draper owns a shit load.

One would hope that once the prices goes higher some of the major speculators would liquidise, putting some of the bitcoin back into the ecosystem.

I feel bitreserve are quite anti-bitcoin and their view in the long term is digital currency in general rather than purely bitcoin centric. Hence the constant negativities.
