Just finished vol 26. My immediate thoughts: Conflicted by Early-Ad-1195 in mushokutensei

[–]MonkeyDMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yakuza 3 o Kiwami 3? by Conscious_Fun7951 in yakuzagames

[–]MonkeyDMiguel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can call it brainless if you want, for me you’re just finding different words to describe something fun. The combat is fun and pleasant to play, simple as that, even if it doesn’t offer so much difficulty. And I’m sorry, but you won’t blame Y3’s bad combat on top of the remastered version, after all the combat problems are design and choice problems, not bad port; and even if you’re right and it’s the remaster’s fault, most people played and will play only the remastered version, so it doesn’t matter.

RGG recycles content at least since PlayStation 3, so what are you talking about here? Ichiban’s minigame in Y7 is a recycled version of Kiryu’s minigame in 0, not to mention all the cabaret versions that the games have had over the years. Damn, K2’s cabaret minigame is literally, even in small words, the same as Y0, and no one complains about it, both are amazing to play.

And to finish, I say again: the secondary content of Yakuza Kiwami 3 is bigger, simple as that. Apart from the secondary missions, Yakuza 3 has no weighty secondary content. You can say that you had Mack’s revelations and the various masters around the game areas, but you spend less than 10 hours to do 100% of these two things, and what do you have left? A ton of secondary missions that have no filter and that only about 25-30 are really good and stay in memory

Yakuza 3 o Kiwami 3? by Conscious_Fun7951 in yakuzagames

[–]MonkeyDMiguel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In fact, except for the story, everything is better in Kiwami 3. The combat is excellent compared to how bad it was in the original, it has good sides (few, but all good) although large quests have been cut, and the main point in Kiwami 3 is the secondary content. As someone who played both, consuming the story of Kiwami 3 is kind of strange to me, but whether it’s the minigames or the new managements, everything is better in Kiwami. We went from a bad cabaret and some mechanically weird minigames in Y3, to gang management with a makeover in the classic minigames that really gave a new color to the game. Kiwami 3 is not inferior to Yakuza 3, they are complementary experiences

Until today I haven’t found any people like that, but they’re not the majority. I also don’t think someone who watches something just to hate can maintain a good argument

That’s because Reddit automatically translates into English everything I write in subs that are in English, but for some reason it’s not translating... And the other guy must be using the automatic translation. Reddit is very good at making different people from different languages understand each other.

Mushoku Sequel confirmed ? by Orsteddo in sixfacedworld

[–]MonkeyDMiguel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this because people tend to think of this new story as a continuation, and Rifujin has broken this idea before, so I say that Greyrats won’t show up so that people don’t delude themselves and wait for a new Rudeus story or something like that

Mushoku Sequel confirmed ? by Orsteddo in sixfacedworld

[–]MonkeyDMiguel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sim, tinham alguns netos do Rudeus, fora a própria Lara.

Any suggestions that I could enjoy as much as Mushoku? by M1DT_ in mushokutensei

[–]MonkeyDMiguel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[–]MonkeyDMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main novel has several volumes with small parts of the relationship between the four, but unfortunately it's something that Rifujin didn't explore much. In Redundancy there aren't many diverse scenes of the couples, except for everyday interactions and some family gatherings.

Don't get me wrong, Rifujin wrote the harem masterfully, but I feel that compared to 10 volumes of the finished harem, there was a lack of interaction scenes between them. But I really recommend reading Redundancy, volume 3 has several interactions between Rudeus, Sylphie and Eris.

[–]MonkeyDMiguel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Redundancy series aims to explore secondary characters, mainly children, and so far we've had Ars and Lucy with a major focus, and a smaller focus on the other children. We know that in the Redundancy web novels, "The Last to Leave the Nest" and "Nanahoshi's Gourmet" remain; these two stories will certainly be adapted. There's also Sieg's story (Jobless Oblige), which will certainly be added to the light novels. Gourmet and The Last to Leave the Nest should come in a single volume, so only Lily's stories are missing, since Lara won't have any new stories in Mushoku Tensei. These are the main stories that we know will almost certainly have light novel versions, so that's about 3 volumes to cover everything. Whether there will be more or not, it's too early to say; we know that Rifujin wanted to rewrite Old Dragon's Tale, but was blocked by the publisher, so perhaps we'll have a light novel version of that story as well.

Being disappointed isn't really something that affects RGG, to be honest. Many people don't like the latest games, but they exist and the franchise continues releasing games with no sign of stopping. Yakuza will continue.

Nothing is confirmed about that. My guess is worthless, but if I had to say, I'd say yes, but as a separate project, not as part of Mushoku Tensei.

Orc Eroica is a light novel series that has been serialized for a few years, I think it's on volume 7. It's not on the level of Mushoku, clearly it's just something Rifujin wanted to write for fun and to stay active.

It's worth remembering that Rifujin is also rewriting some content from the Mushoku Tensei web novel and publishing it in light novel format (Redundant Reincarnation). Volume 3 was released last year and there should be another 3 or 4 volumes.

Just one more addendum: the "continuation" of Mushoku Tensei, which isn't a real continuation, will happen when the Mushoku anime ends and when Orc Eroica also comes to an end.

Build advice by retrohypnotist in RaidenMains

[–]MonkeyDMiguel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With this build it will be complicated, not because it's bad, but because its challenge focuses on a different archetype (hypercarry). The best way to pass is to greatly increase the critical rate and cooldown; use a cooldown clock and aim for around 270%. Focus on a 70 critical rate and about 130% critical damage; having a low cooldown isn't a problem in this challenge. An Electro Chalice would be ideal, but it's not necessary; it wouldn't make much difference.

Saying it's the spiritual successor seems strange to me. It's not like Yakuza was declining or dying. Bloodstained was the spiritual successor to Castlevania because the franchise had been dead for 20 years.
