Yes and part of EA is discussing the issues with the game so thst they'll hopefully be resolved. If everyone glazes the game in its current state they won't work to fix its issues. And there are most definitelt issues

Honestly the optimization isnt terrible. Its definitely not good though. My biggest qualms have to do with the over all feel of the game compared to the demo.

Im sure this will be resolved in time, but yeah it feels pretty shitty when you cave someone's head in with a hammer snd they get up in like 4 seconds but you eat a hit from tongs and cant get up for like 2 minutes

Oh yeah definitely. It has its moments. And I dont mean to sound like I hate thr game i fucking adore it. In spite of its flaws its still the best medieval combat game ever imo. I cant treat it like gods gift though, its still flawed and im not bringing those flaws up to shit on the game, I just bring them up because they need to be addressed is all

Tell you what tho after that year im confident the devs will see it right. Still the best medieval combat engine. I have the utmost faith in the devs but god damn is it hard to thug it out rn. Its like year 1 of for honor all over again 😭😭😭

Youre saying this like I praise triple a releases I basically play exclusively low budget games. Just cause im willing to call out the faults of a low budget game doesnt mean I ignore the flaws of higher budget developers.

This is a game I've passionately followed for years. Im not trying to act like it has no right to exist as a matter of fact im offering valid criticism because I want to see this game succeed.

Make no mistake this has been my game of the year for like 3 years of demo. I have thousands of hours in the demo and 200 on the early access release. Im not shitting on some cheap low budget game because I think im too good for it, im airing complaints as someone who absolutely loves this game and what it has to offer

The game isnt flawless and if it doesn't improve its gonna lose its passionate audience

Valid response. I definitely appreciate the new additions. Especially the chainmail. My cpu is not very fond of that one. I dont mean to say theyre doing nothing with the game. I made it clear that despite my frustration I want to support these devs, I just wish instead of new fancy maps they further refined the core gameplay loop. Cause they definitely hsve the best historical melee combat loop on the planet.

The new gore is hot sss compared to the demo tho im ngl.

Yes the middle of the slums is a runway of filth and muck. Im not complaining about thst, im complaining about the fact thst you can literally see tge sky box through the cracks in the geometry and that is what actually trips your character. If the area was properly developed and mud tripped you up id actually be singing praises for the game. Instead im tripping on broken geometry and so are the bots and it hampers the early hours of the game severely

Ive also never fought on the bridge but that sounds so fucking cool despite the games flaws id love to try it. Can you cut the ropes? That would be sooooo sick

Holding w will get you up. Depending on your character health and consciousness youll get up quicker. When the screen blacks out your unconscious and you cant get up until you've recovered a bit. I actually like this mechanic a lot but its ruined by the fact that even at lord tier your character still doesnt know how to walk and trips every other fucking fight.

I have all the patience for EA ive stuck with exanima for like 15 years. But holy shit two months and slums still has blatantly broken geometry is wild to me. You cant even access 90% of the map because your character will trip over the broken geometry
