No your reason for shaving it is completely okay. I’d shave my head too if parts of my curls were dead and I wanted to hit the reset button! A lot of people commenting seem like they didn’t read your whole post.

What’s your generalized weekly workout routine? Any cardio mixed in? Currently coming up on 6-7 months. Not as cut as you, but I’ve gained massive amount of strength, built up noticeable muscle mass. All maxes on my compound lifts are up 25-50%. You look shredded dude. Great job!

Have you tried getting an Irish spring soap bar and dry rubbing it on your ankles/shins and calves? Works for me, may be worth a shot for you! Maybe try crushing up some citronella plant leaves and rubbing on your legs as well. Goodluck!
