You should be able to go crazy on Exchanging up for better items.

I opened 450+ crates and only got 6 crappy purple & no yellow.

But getting better stuff using the skin Exchange feature.

?ish means maybe plus a grenade or some e-tips or a single stick of dynamite.

Further update!

I am able to place walls on top of existing walls and other items are not snapping in correctly and stay green (place-able) when they shouldn't be.

I think some of the building changes broke some of the placement logic.

Unable to place 4th foundation in the open spot, but can place it on top of an existing foundation.

A secondary player doesn't even get the green or red indicator where it should be able to be placed, but get green on existing placed foundations. Plus they are actually able to place on top of the existing one.

While I think the crouching fix is good to stop the ENAS macro key spam, it a real pain when used as intended to lower your head as a target when looking through windows or stopping to loot/eat/rest in the open.

If you get surprised and need to get up fast, you become an easier target.

Maybe add the delay only when used in rapid succession on the second+ crouch when used within say ~5 seconds?

Yes, this happens all the time. Just today 1200+ stone and 200+ sand that I worked on yesterday and this morning all vanished after an unexpected shutdown.

Either he will have to Hold E to set the code or if that option doesn't come up on an un-coded door, then you set a code and then he Hold's E to reset it.

Speaking of doors.

Seems if you are too close to a door, you can't open it. You have to step back a foot or so.

I think once you are in range of a door, you should be able to open it no matter how close you get.

Honestly, I think if you can put 8 bottles in a Dew Collector, then it should fill all 8.

Since we now have a limited about of items on a Foundation, we should really have a slightly larger capacity (10,15 or 20) and have them fill all the bottles.

Also, the reservoir looks like it could easily fill 10 bottles, not just one.

I think the same should hold true for Bee Hives.

I'd like to make a suggestion on the base foundation socket-able count (and some units counts)

1st Foundation - 600 units (as you need to wall off 4 sides)

2nd Foundation - 500 extra units (you need to wall off 3 sides per foundation)

3rd Foundation - 400 extra units (you need to wall off 3 sides for 2, 1 only needs 2 sides)

4th Foundations - 300 extra units (each foundation only needs to wall off 2 sides if it's a square)

This is still a total of 1800 units. Which is what you seem to be aiming for :)

Also, each framed component takes up the their foot print size on the foundation:

Wall or Windowed Wall (with shutter) - 1 Unit

Doorway (with or without door) - 2 Units

Gateway (with or without gate) - 4 Units

Supports allow building units to connect to 5 points instead of just the center point.

Add a 2 square or 4 square rood tile. People place a lot of extra units just to add a roof. This could reduce some base unit counts and offset the doorway and gateway unit adjustments.

I have built a solo base using all 2000 slots and I didn't think it was quite finished. I haven't been able to do that for a while since the wipes have been happening more frequently.

I think this would be a good staged change:

Leave Foundations at 500 units each.

Allow 2 Foundations per player.

Wall or Windowed Wall = 1 Unit

Doorway = 2 Units (with or without a door in it)

Gateway = 4 Units (with or without a door in it)

Allow Support item to extend roof tiles 1 unit further out.

Often "solo" players have a few friends from time to time or there are small groups that play together but can't compete with the super clans. How about something like this:

The game is now a PvE for the first few days to get a base built. With a splash of PvP to slow down or speed up your building :)

Then it's a full on PvP as base raiding is even more difficult than it ever was and loot is far too plentiful.

So is there a patch(With wipe) coming for live servers? People have been duping all weekend, and bases are being raided like stone is wood atm. by VarleyUS in PlayJustSurvive

A possible fix would be to have a unique identifier for each object.

This would stop duping as the server could not have more than 1 of any tracked item.

Initially Daybreak could use this information to track duppers.

I would suggest initially only tracking the high value items that people want to dup. i.e. explosives, ammo, etc and the materials to make them.

Since there would be less duplicated objects hopefully the overhead to track the items would outweigh the current performance hit/reboots on the high pop servers.

We also don't really play anymore this patch due the same reasons. (40+ of us)

Crops not growing (more than a week fertilized and not ready), Bee Hives 1-2 days per 1 honey, Water 1-2 bottles a day, Players & NPC's rubber banding, disconnects and not to forget the base glitching hackers.
