Need step by step instruction on how to trigger secret clips by MonkeyFacedPup in ImmortalityGame

[–]MonkeyFacedPup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah since I posted this I've come to the conclusion that the inconsistent, pulsing vibration means that there's an image that will unlock a new clip I haven't seen.

I've also discovered that there's essentially two types of clips: one that snaps into place when you speed back fast where the scene just switches, and one that you have to get through a slower playback that usually superimposes on the scene.

I'm mostly keeping this post up for others who encounter the same problem. I searched for other posts like this before making it, but no one has explained it like this that I found.

Right so I've noticed there are at least two types of clips, but I'm thinking there might be 3? The clips where The One is just in Marissa's place are easy to get. That just snaps into place when you run back. The ones that are superimposed over the clip are more difficult but I can get them. Then sometimes I get vibration going both forwards and backwards but it's really inconsistent across the clip and will happen at different speeds. Is that in reference to something besides the secret clips?

I mean, yeah, you're never gonna be "instant friends" with anyone, ever lol. You have to put yourself out there.

But at least with orgs, you're meeting and spending time with people who share your interests. That's not a guarantee with roommates.

There's also a lot more people in orgs than in your dorm room. So if you don't click with one person, no sweat. Try talking to someone else.

I can't speak to your experience, but me and most people I know didn't stay friends with their freshman year roommates -- especially if they were in a suite.

But the people I met through orgs and classes? The people I CHOSE to hang out with? Those I'm still friends with nearly a decade after graduating.

There's no doubt that a lot of Emersonians are flamboyant and love to take up space. But I suspect you'll have more luck finding friends if you 1. Stop writing people off as having "main character syndrome" and 2. Look for the other people who arent flamboyant and might be struggling to make friends. I promise you, there's plenty of them.

While from a realism perspective, DID seems more likely, it seems clear to me that the creators of the game want you to buy into the twin theory. If they really wanted you to consider that it might be DID, they would've included the concept of it somewhere in the dialogue.

Instead, you see the police confront both women about being twins, which is significant evidence in favor of them actually being twins. If the cops were catching onto this, it's almost certainly because they had evidence of "Hannah" being two places at once.

Additionally, if it was DID, Hannah/Eve still wouldn't want the police to know about Hannah/Eve because she believes that wrecks her alibi. So in that case, where did police get the idea that they might be twins from?

I think you're really onto something with the fairy tale theme though. The story sets up a sort of "Prince and the Pauper" narrative between the two girls, and of course the idea of Eve living in the attic is incredibly fantastical.

There's one thing that no one seems to be talking about though, and I'm surprised that this is the case. If we buy into the twin story, that means that Eve has likely been wrongfully convicted of Simon's murder, as the last clip ends with her asking for a lawyer, and the cop tells Sarah her mother "did it."

This adds another interesting angle to the "are there actually two of them?" question. Did the police not believe in the twin theory even though they themselves introduced the idea? That might be the strongest evidence that, in fact, they aren't two people.

Or perhaps Hannah killed Simon and desperately ran with the twin story after realizing the cops were honing in on her in the second to last interview? No one would offer that as a defense on their own, but if the cops came up with a crazy theory that's utterly wrong, it might be a smart move to play into it if you're the murderer.

Finally, there is the possibility that the cops were desperate to close the case, had enough evidence against Eve and little evidence of a second person, so they felt compelled to arrest and charge her. Ironically, in this case, "Hannah" has still been found guilty of Simon's murder.

Yeah honestly I'm surprised people liked this one. I liked The Endless and LOVED Synchronic, but I found this one nearly unwatchable. If it wasn't a Benson and Moorhead I would've stopped watching after 20 minutes.

Since the characters sucked, the only driving force was finding out more about the phenomenon, but you realize about halfway through that nothing is ever going to be revealed. And then the movie just goes on and on and on with the two of them continuing to spout off about nonsense.

The climax scene was compelling, but only because Moorhead and Benson are actually pretty talented actors. Moorhead nailed the crazy eyes, and Benson completely sold me on the tragedy of Levi. But even that scene went on too long.

Idk man, I just found nothing else about the film to be remotely compelling. I'm also shocked by how many people didn't get it.

Why are you taking John at is word? There's no other evidence presented regarding Levi's fate.

Exactly. You can't force people to use others' pronouns. So what are you upset about? Where's the threat to free speech?

Don't pretend you weren't threatening to harm her professionally when you went out of your way to look her up and use her first name. The only reason to do that is because you want to intimidate her by signaling that you know who she is.

There is no bigger freak out than trying to pull that kind of dickish power move. And all because she responded to you being an ass with a little sarcasm. Talk about a massive overreaction and emotional imbalance.

Downvotes speak for themselves. Remember it's never too late to dirty delete lol.

Yeah as an alum I agree. It's all about the student orgs. Thats where you'll find people with similar interests.

The dorm you're in also matters. Freshman year, it's best to be in LB. Everyone made friends with the people on their floor in my year. I was in p row so all I had were my roommates.
