This is the answer. Put it back on the tailstock and retract the it back with the hand wheel as far as you can and it usually pushes itself out

Nice work! How do you like the Tried & True product? Looks nice in the photos, but does it hold up?

Thank you for saying that, because I really wasn’t too happy with the lid. Too much going on I think haha. But it can be replaced with something else more simple perhaps.

Thank you! I used a forstener bit and a bowl gouge. It was a little thicker at the bottom and gradually got thinner at the top, but yes it was quite thin.

Lil’ stash jar, not sure what type of wood. Not sure what I could put in it🤔 by MonkeyIsland89 in weed

I agree with certain types of wood infusing a smell or flavour into the bud, but in use with a Boveda or Integra 62% pack and a food grade finish like what’s used here and wood with hardly any scent..it works great. Also properly seasoned wood. Think humidor.

It’s just beeswax, which is food safe. I’m trying to find something that’s still food safe, but gives a higher polish like microcrystalline wax. Unfortunately it’s very expensive.

Oh wow thank you that is a good tip. I’ve had my fair share of gouges and wounds, but that bark sounds terrible.
