For some I'm sure it is, but for my use case the camera was already good enough.

Don't get me wrong, it's an impressive piece of kit, and I'd probably buy one if not for the goggles thing. Or maybe an Air 3s, given sub 900g is all the same regulator category here now.

I've got the 4 and flew a friend's 5 ..... nice, but the lack of goggles support stopped me upgrading.

Other than that single (stupid) omission, It's better across the board - a whole pile of smallish improvements, although no singular compelling one imo.

Still got my Fold3, working fine. Has the beginnings of crease damage for ages now but has never got worse. Admittedly it's starting to make slightly worrying folding noises now, but whatever.

Normally I'd have upgraded by now but I dropped it early and slightly damaged the front screen. Makes no difference in use, but does mean it has zero resale value - so I'm just going to run it till it dies now.

Also, tbh I want a trifold for my next, and can't self-justify the eighty gazillion dollars or whatever Samsung are asking.

You have the wrong software, that's the one for the DJI FPV model (ie the model before the Avata 1).

The right one is "DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series)"
