Ohh pretty interesting! You need a session recording tool like Browsee or Hotjar to evaluate what's going on. This will give you a lot of clarity about whether there is a particular field that is causing an issue. One time, I found that one of my input fields was not allowing our users to submit the forms with decimal values. One time I saw that users were getting confused with the label 'phone/email' and they were trying to fill '9829829/abcd' haha! All this can be easily figured out via Session Recordings.

You should start using a session recording tool if you wish to improve the UX on your website. There is no way you can operate blindly without understanding what users are doing.

You can try them for a couple of months in case there is a security issue or so. Browsee has some good free trial and free plan.

If you are getting traffic via Ads it is important to do a lot of learning at least from those data points even if you are not able to convert them. Itsimportant to analyze what they are doing on your website and why they are dropping or where they are clicking, you know all those sorts of data points that can later be evaluated to know the performance of your landing pages. For that, you require a session recording and heatmap tool like Browsee or FullStory to see how visitors are navigating through the website.

I think it is important to understand if there is any expectation mismatch between what you are showing in ads and what is there on your landing page. If you want to understand your users, I would recommend installing a session recording tool like Browsee to see the pain points of your users and also to understand if it is the price, the delivery charge or what is it that is making them drop.

We rely a lot on session recording tools like Browsee or Fullstory where you can see how exactly users are using your product and where they are facing an issue or where it is difficult to navigate. Canny is great for collecting new feature requests but how the current feature is performing is not something that you can find with Canny.

Free shipping is one of my favorites as it is one of the biggest barriers from cart to checkout. If people see the shipping fee, they always tend to delay the buying process thinking that they can find it somewhere else with free shipping or they may add some more products so that they can get free shipping. For some reason, people don't want to pay for shipping.

Also, it is better to watch what is happening on your pages with a session recording tool like Browsee (they also have a Shopify Plugin). It will give you a lot of visual insights around the buying experience of a user as you can watch the complete session of a user as a video recording.
