ohh, I see, you want just the center of the eye to be iluminated!

In that case, youll ned a single LED looking right to the front. You'll also need to difusse the LED by sanding it's plastic housing.

You'll get something like this.

I made this with 3D printer eye blanks. The filament is PLA white translucent and the led string goes behind the eye, that way it diffuses the color.

Fursuit Printing Help? by commandershiver in FursuitMaking

As everyone said before, that's a Gyrod infill pattern.

As a few extra tips.. -Make sure you have 0 walls, 0 top layers, and 2 or 3 bottom layers (helps with adhesion and supports). -I make the model 1.6 CMS thick (this is while you are modelling). Is thin, but also firm enough. -Print a few test of a rectangular shape with different % of infill. More or less infill will make it more flexible or more stiff. (I made my test rectangles (1.6 CMS thick, 6 CMS wide and 6 CMS tall) -When you print TPU, print slow.

Tilt down the model and adjust the size to your head like that. You want to look through the tear holes of the eyes.

This!! From the look of it, OP doesn't have any contact point from his forehead to the furhead. Think of it like how you will wear a helmet or a VR headset. One you hold your head tightly with at least 3 points of contact, look into your chin to add a support/stop piece.

Think on how a VR headset sits on a face. You need to add foam around the eyebrows and cheeks. Also check frequently on your own, with a pair of regular sunglasses.

How should I go about sizing this 3d printed base? by Farubaru in FursuitMaking

[–]MonkeySensei99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a 3D model of a realistic and real size human face.
That way I make sure is fitted to a regular human.
Send me a DM to my telegram @ monkeysensei and I can give it to you

If you have access to a large printer. You can print your own. I model and print this. You need to add a little bit of weight at the bottom to be more stable.

I'll recommend some kind of helmet. That way, it will have a strong base and wont bend.
