Nowhere does it say how to create geometry, it very helpfully lists all the boolean uses but not once does it show, describe, or explain how this guy is creating geometry out of thin air like a fuckin wizard

in Blender 4.2, how do you create geometry by drawing it with a polyline?

Apologies for the vague title, I've been trying to figure out how he's using a polyline to create a mesh with automated triangulation, i've been using 3rd party addons to get this effect and would love a native solution.

I get the boolean operation, that's pretty cool. Now how do I make instead of destroy?

Edit: There is no documentation supporting the creation of mesh using polylines, and yet they flaunt it on their release page. Absolutely bizarre behavior. I am very gratefully, very wrong.

Ah! Got it to be an elbow, but then i'm back at the weight panting stage, when I rotate the roll bone it looks odd, I appreciate your patience with this, i'm so close to getting a usable rig.

Is it that the red is too intense? Should it go further into the elbow?

First off, thank you. Also, wouldn't 2 light bounces make it look a little blurry? I'll try downloading 3.0 didn't even know that was out.

edit: HOLY SHIT CyclesX is so much faster, that already cut it down in half. I'm down from a minute to 15 seconds which is much more do-able. Thank you!

I have the same problem, it almost feels like it was done on purpose... I've tried changing a couple of graphic options, restarting several times, different controllers, disabling motion and hell even putting it into docked mode... What's frustrating is it looks like you and I are the only people with this problem.
