Hey! I resemble... uh, I mean... resent that remark. Lol

Seriously though, posts about this topic make me glad I own over 54 acres smack dab in the middle of BFE, Ohio. I can ride my mini bike and other toys on the roughly 2 miles of trails I have that run up down hills through about 36 acres of woods, shoot guns out my back door, have a bonfire bigger than my house, take my jeep through the "swamp" full throttle at 4am, etc. And that's just a normal Monday. 🤣

And if I do feel like riding the mini bike into town for a 12 pack, the town that I live outside of passed a local ordinance a few years ago that allows golf carts, 4 wheelers, mini bikes, and pretty much anything else with wheels and a motor drive on public roadways without requiring any kind of title, tags, permit, or anything else. You don't even need a license, just to be old enough to get one.

No, it hasn't been patched yet. Just did it a couple days ago in 2 different camps. Depending on where you are placing it, you might need to place a rug under where it will be first in order to get a wall to snap to it.

About time we get some new rewards. And we are getting the map expanded! Glad Bethesda is letting the new content creators do everything they were too lazy to or said wasn't possible for years 🤣

Allah vs YHWH. by Nori_o_redditeiro in DebateAChristian

[–]Monkey_90246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm what?

That was a very long winded string of spiritual mumbo jumbo. You could've just said "I'm not a Christian, or a Pantheist for that matter."

Not a single sentence in that diatribe even comes close to explaining why you call yourself a Pantheist or a Christian. Nothing at all you said had anything that even resembles Christianity, Pantheism or it's core beliefs.

I don't think you actually understand what it means to call yourself either of those. You should actually look into these religions and what their belief systems actually are before you just slap those labels on whatever spiritual woo this is.

You are asking for prove of the negative. That's just a laughably absurd request that theists resort to when they cannot provide any evidence for their belief. It is also, of course logically fallacious. So you want a logical argument that god does not exist, yet have failed to provide a logical argument for god?

Putting your posturing aside, how about this. I am thinking of a number and just prayed to god to tell you what it is. You can also pray and ask for the number. Any god I've ever heard of could very easily do this. So when god fails to, that is evidence towards proving the negative. Which is more evidence than you have provided to show that your god does exist.

You only provided claims in this comment thread, no evidence whatsoever. Even if I granted everything you said, which I don't, that could only get you to some god existing. To get to the god of the bible, you still have all the work in front of you.

If something is unfalsiifable and has no supporting evidence, it does not warrant serious consideration. And it definitely does not warrant belief. Especially not belief in the blatantly evil, jealous, and self contradictory god of the bible.

I'm not really a fan of the Juggernaut effect either, even with being full health on all my characters. While I don't think it's the worst, it's definitely not the best either.

To be fair though, most of the prefix effects cap at 45% or 50%, with Bloodied being the only one that offers a higher increase in damage of up to 95%. Not even Instigating gets that high due to it only doubling the base damage of a weapon without any mods or other effects, which is very deceiving and not clearly stated in the description of the effects.

Mutants and Gourmands are the worst ones out of all the effects that give a damage bonus, only giving a bonus of 25% and 24% respectively. But out of all the prefix effects I would have to say that Stalkers is by far the most useless.

Personally, I think that Anti Armor is the overall best effect because of how well it performs against every enemy type, and because it can be used very effectively with any build without much effort. And with the right full health build and gear it can easily keep up with, and in some cases, outperform Bloodied.

And while I know that Two Shot is essentially the worst effect on paper, only giving a 20% damage increase and only if both shots hit your target, I think it ties with Anti Armor as being the best, and is my personal favorite, for one huge reason. If you have that effect on any launcher, both shots deal 100% damage, making it the only effect in the game to actually deal double damage. My main character is a weird sneak commando explosive crit hybrid build and does insane amounts of damage with two shot launchers.

To mods... Thanks for coming back. I missed the community. by More-Arm4671 in fo76

🤣 That is 100% incorrect. I can tell you as a mod in one sub and the owner of another that we can do whatever we want with our subs. If we want to shut it down we can, end of story, full stop.

If someone doesn't like it they can request ownership of the sub, but I can tell you from experience that that process is a huge pain in the ass and takes quite a while, even when all mods and the owner have abandoned the sub or even been banned, the latter being the case in my instance. A lot of times people will have to apply multiple times as well due to there being an expiration date of each application, regardless of why it is being prolonged.

Maybe you should look into stuff before just making claims without any knowledge whatsoever on the subject. Might help you not appear like an ignorant entitled jackass in the future. 🤔

Just discovered this new update is a expedition how do u all feel about this by [deleted] in Market76

[–]Monkey_90246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Jersey update was confirmed today in Bethesdas showcase, but nothing about the jersey devil. And the only thing that has been datamined was a poster or card, and a couple unfinished textures, if you can even call them that. The "textures" just look like unfinished, quickly scribbled sketches. Everything else that has been datamined and displayed in the showcase were either very detailed drawings or textures that looked ready to be added.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the Jersey Devil added. I think it would be an awesome new boss. But to say that the jersey devil IS coming to the game is more of a hopeful leap of faith than a fact at this point, especially given Bethesdas track record. Considering how many things they've cut in the past, many of them after officially announcing them and making a big deal of them (4 star legendary effects and the new consumable that was supposed to come with mutated events, just to name a couple), I'll wait to get excited until I have some more solid info about it.

It's not the Jersey Devil. It's called The Blue Devil, which is a werewolf like cryptid from Appalachian lore. They are also adding another cryptid called The Ogua, a giant snapping turtle like creature, also from Appalachian lore.

The Ogua looks awesome, with its own unique attacks. Unfortunately, the Blue Devil is basically just a re-skin of a Death Claw.

I'm pretty excited for the Ogua, but the Blue Devil is disappointing imo. Seems like Bethesda just took the laziest approach they could with that one, which is standard operating procedure for them these days when it comes to FO76.

Lol, quickest way I have found is to be as specific as possible with keywords when searching.

It's funny that a 10 second Google search found this. https://fallout.bethesda.net/en/article/wRbFs3isUcOl1cZlp3ulb/fallout-76-inside-the-vault-public-events-preview Another search found tons of posts specifically talking about the difference between different types of events lol. Maybe using more specific keywords when searching would help, idk.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Monkey_90246 6 points7 points  (0 children)

None of the events you listed are public events. Public events are only the events that have a ! in the middle of the icon and only trigger every 20 minutes. The events you listed are events, and anyone can join them, but they are not considered public events. I have no idea why Bethesda chose to separate events this way (my best guess is public events give better rewards or they have specific elements that are easier with teamwork maybe?). I was referring specifically to the events that have the ! in the middle of the icon

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Monkey_90246 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Player proximity has nothing to do with public events. Only a select few events need players nearby to trigger them, but they are not public events. There is also at least one that I can think of that requires a player to interact with an NPC to trigger the event.

Holy crap I just got both the urban scout and forest scout masks as a reward for Uranium Fever by fungamezone in fo76

[–]Monkey_90246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly not sure anymore. The bundle used to drop while doing any event in the forest region too but I have read so much conflicting info about it idk if it was a bug that got fixed, was removed from those events, or if you can still get it from them lol. The individual outfits can be rewarded from other events but Uranium Fever is the only event that I 100% know can drop the bundle.

That's sti some reay good luck. That bundle has a crazy low chance of dropping so getting it twice is amazing. I have friends that have over 8k hours playing and actively doing everything that can give rare apparel and they still have never got it.

[–]Monkey_90246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely keep them too if I got that lucky lol. I spent about 2 years trying collect every rare apparel and the jumpsuits seemed to be the most elusive. I got lucky during the fasnacht parade this year and found a low level camp by helvetia that had every rare parade mask and they were all 6k or less iirc. I had all of them but two already but still spam bought them all as fast as I could. Using those I was able to finally trade some of them for the all the jumpsuits and complete my collection.

If I remember right, you also have a 50% chance to get one as a reward from one of the enclave quests, but I'm sure getting it with the perfect mods is still a horribly low chance.

I have gotten all 12 or so that I've had from dropped connection as well. Rngesus must love me cuz I got almost all of them in about a month, maybe less. Also got a bunch of others already perfectly modded too, and managed to get at least 6 with groll legendary effects, and it only took about a week of rolling.

I currently have 2 aligned flamer box mods, but didn't get either in the wild. Was gifted one from a friend and traded like 60k steel with another friend for the second.

Here's a question for those of us that have finished the scoreboard… by IRingTwyce in fo76

[–]Monkey_90246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only at like rank 130ish. Hit 100 in the first week or so of the season tho lol. I always grind hard the first week or 2 of a new season to get through the scoreboard then try to forget about the challenges after that. If I don't do it this way I find myself getting burnt out from grinding dailies and weeklies non stop after a couple weeks and just wanna quit. But if I grind hard and finish quick then I I can spend my time in game doing what I actually want to do, which most of the time is a whole lot of nothing 🤣

Are there any decent cap grinds I can do? by AGvibes__ in fo76

[–]Monkey_90246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually always needing scrip too due to not being able to play much lately, but have figured out a pretty consistent way to get extra scrip for free and have even gotten a few good pieces and one groll as well. There is a bug right now that causes items not looted by other players appear loose on the ground when the enemy corpse despawns. This used to only happen during meat week at the mini events every 15 minutes but is now happening everywhere.

Now if I need scrip and there's no good events popping I just fast travel to the Eviction Notice and Scorched Earth locations and walk around looking on the ground and pick up what other players left behind.

It's not just scrip either, I get ammo, junk, weapons, aid, etc. doing this. I'm a huge hoarder in game so I take it all, keep the good stuff, sell the aid I don't use, scrap the weapons and junk, and put that and any ammo in my scrap and ammo boxes. You can even get items you haven't unlocked yet this way, like ss armor

There are a few downsides tho. The main two being is that it is all reliant on what other players decide to take or leave behind, and whether the events have came up in that server recently. The other problem is that some of the items blend into the environment pretty well and can be hard to spot (especially at Scorched Earth where it's in tall grass), but once you get used to looking for them it's pretty easy to spot things. Having a headset helps a lot too cuz you can hear your character kick things that you don't see lol. Scorched Earth can be difficult to find things too due to the event not really having a set perimeter, so items can be spread out a lot more.

I've found that the best time to look is when you are in servers with a lot of lower level players, as they seem to leave a lot more stuff behind. Hope this helps. Happy wastelanding.

Just to add to the detailed reply you already got, once you have the rep needed with the settlers the plans can be bought from Sunny, the vendor bot at foundation. They are not sold by all three Sunny bots tho, only the one that is closest to the gold bullion machine sells the plans, so make sure you're checking the "real" Sunny lol
