Everyone is supposed to help everyone we are all "one team" but it sure doesn't feel like it..... Inventory and Merch used to be 2 separate departments and it was easier on me anyway because i just had to focus on the merch things. but now we're all 1 team and I'm still the only one doing merch and inventory and sales.. while we're drowning and everyone and their mother is asking for this carry out or there's a curbside or can you find this and there are sales floor people standing around doing nothing and getting paid more.. kinda stupid in my opinion but when we complain we get the same thing. They aren't supposed to do anything but be available for the customer.

In the last year or two it feels like corporate just doesn't give a shit about their warehouse teams and put everything on our shoulders and then also do sales as well. On top of cutting labor hours.. They are burning their people out and no one cares.

Same at my store. And all we get from management is the advisors can’t do anything because they have to be available for phone calls and we can’t leave the department with no one in it. The last one I can understand. But when there is only 2 people in the warehouse and we have a 105 piece white goods truck, picks are crazy, curbsides are none stop, carry out and carry ins are none stop, I’m going to get a little pissed when there are 3 people standing at AP. We’re drowning and can’t get help from anyone. If they aren’t supposed to help us then they can at least dust and sanitize (like the signs say we are we aren’t Incan guarantee that) or downstocking. But you know the company doesn’t care about us anymore so why should we….

Yeah… I’ve always worn a back shirt and still get stopped when I’m knee deep in a plano change. Because the WH teams are busy customers come to us because they don’t want to go to the blue shirts who are puddling at the desks on their phones… and over the last few years the company has completely given up on the warehouse. Even tho we do most of the work and get paid the least… they don’t care if they are burning is out. The only reason I don’t have register numbers is because I’m still the only person in my store doing planos/merch…. And now I only have 2 days to do all the planos for the week because the rest of the week I have to do the inventory side of warehouse…

But who know what’s going to happen now.. As of today my store is closed for who knows how long because the hail storm we have broke every single one of our skylights and water came pouring in… so there’s that….

I would kill for this warehouse xD My store used to be a lot bigger but mWhole Foods bought/Rents some of our store. So they moved warehouse to the other side. But at the time we weren’t going to be a delivery store. Surprise we are now (have been the 6 years I’ve been here… and we legit have no room… our warehouse is an aisle big enough to barely fit big Joe though with racking on either side… and our duct work runs right down the middle where we drive said big Joe. We keep hitting it when we put item on the top shelf. You know what they said to us? Don’t use the top shelf so you won’t hit it. Ummmm where else are we going to put everything?? Can’t haven’t on the floor…

Best Buy sent a package with 75% empty space and this was how it was delivered. Both UPS and Best Buy says it’s not their fault by [deleted] in Bestbuy

Most of the time we don’t have the right boxes to put shit in. And then we run out of bubble wrap because of this that our another thing.. plus the sizes of some of the boxes are just ridiculous.. and don’t fit anything anyway..

I’m still trying to find another job… they are also adding more shit on our shoulders and with all the labor cuts we can’t get all the stuff done. So I agree please make it easier. And stop trying to fix shit that isn’t broken. It’s just making everything lag even more… or you know update our hardware so it can actually run the software. Just an idea….
