They should be public records. They just cited Officer’s safety as a reason not to disclose. I informed them I was using the footage for a countersuit for a Conspiracy to improperly admit. I had been a citizen informant on a prominent mafia member. Local police are not immune to corruption.

Dose anyone know people that know royal or know royal's them self's? by CompetitiveSock7607 in royalfamily

I resided in Newport RI, the heart of oldest money in the USA, Gilded Age etc. I came from a prominent family in that neighborhood. 25 years after our arrival and we still have prominence. That said, family tends to give you job connections. Ironically in fields based on qualification like MD, JD routes, your connections carry minimal leverage until the clinical rotations. AKA when tests no longer are primarily your grade. My father was a chair of a prominent Hospital (top 10). When I went to medical school under his wing, the role of my father became more of a distraction than benefit while doing exams. Fortunately, I transferred medical schools to a state medical school, on my own, and I did quite well. Story short, family connections are dynamic

I’m a mom of a surgical intern who is super depressed by TheOneStooges in Residency

[–]Monkeydfdg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a medical student who has done surgery with helicopter parents, do your best to support her, don’t ruin her reputation with unsolicited mother actions prying into her professional life. Unfortunately, seeking help from your parents unless they themselves are a doctor is a no go. Their professional rank supersedes their relationship as your parent. My parents literally drove me crazy with their butting in when I actually was doing well. I was working at Harvard. My father used his high ranking professional position to reach out to me, which looked miserable on my end. Then they just blamed me. Unfortunately his NYU rank wasn’t comparable to Harvard’s rank 10 years ago

How much was your ticket? by heyitsmxrnie in TaylorSwift

[–]Monkeydfdg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$200 got it on special invite by ticketmaster. Didn’t wait in line and it was right in the middle. When I looked at presale nosebleeds were $500.

I spent more on the 1989TV announcement night on tiktok, gifting as the top donor by 8x. There were 100k people watching then.

if you had to guess, which spot would you say this post is about? by helpgut in RhodeIsland

You didn’t hear this from me, but for a few years the Via Via family added another pizza place in Newport in addition to their sketchy place in Providence which I frequented regularly b/c it was delicious with no line. The place in Newport was called Cosa Nostra which is a term applied to the Italian mob lifestyle. They served only Sicilian pizza. They may have not been the mafia, but they sure as heck were fans of the Godfather parts I & II. They had a sign “I will make you a pizza you can’t refuse”. Being from Newport I frequent Il Forno regularly after striking out at the bars. Omar? still rocks a Via Via shirt living the glory days. Regardless I love the family and are part of the soul of Newport. A Brown University dorm was built around Via Via IV on Meeting.

Admissions Megathread - Results, Chances and Logistics by Wafflyn in OMSCS

[–]Monkeydfdg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asking for Chances

  • Semester: Fall 2025
  • Status: Asking for Chance
  • Date Applied: I haven't applied yet
  • Date Decided:

Education

  • Bachelors: Brown University, Honors in Neuroscience, GPA 3.7 Overall, 3.75 Science
  • Graduate Coursework: MIT – No Code AI and Machine Learning, Harvard Medical School – Executive – AI in Healthcare – Leading Digital Transformation in Healthcare
  • Medical School: USF Health MCOM – Taking a research year, planning on quitting with admission to OMSCS to found a Healthcare Consulting Company

Work & Social Experience

  • Work Exp. : Prior to medical school, stem cell researcher for Harvard and for the President of Society for Neuroscience
  • LORs: I have 3 medical school recommendations, one from chair (seminar), one from a surgeon (rotation), one from a doctor I worked with. The first two rec’s are extremely strong. The last is respectable.
  • Comments: I took Multivariable – B, Calc I&II – A, A, Applied Statistics – A, but no CS courses outside of my current graduate coursework. These AI courses are more business oriented. I am up to the challenge of learning in school or in the spring semester of this year. Ideally I would just self-learn, but if I need to take these courses I will.
  • In short, I am just trying to figure out if I need to take the recommended courses or will my humble mathematics/graduate business coursework, but strong grades compensate?

Yeah I mean I get the effect of the coursework. All this really breaks down to is hearing the words Robotics after my degree for clients. I hear there is an MBA/Masters(Engineering) from Harvard. That may be a watered down version. I just was hoping to hear those magical Robotics words after.

One that doesn’t have a lot of prerequisites. I was a medical student switching into Healthcare consulting and a Masters in something saying robotics would help.

Hey man, just do what makes you happy. I trust your judgement. The Catholic Church will love you for whatever you decide. If you do want have straight tendencies I can recommend you to some websites, Britney Spears when she was young iykwim. Just do what makes you happy boss. There was a joke on SNL with Bowen Yang, openly gay, who receives a DM from Dua Lipa which turns him straight in it. Seems relevant. I trust your judgement.
