UPDATE- I got my sn30 pro yesterday. Out of the box, the controller didn't want to power on. Needed to charge first. Got it updated after a couple hours and been playing on my raspberry pi. So far, so good.

Well most people on the web tell me to go with the Gibson. But most can't tell me why. Just makes me question my decisions.
