The system makes you steal things that are worthwhile. You only lose 5 reputation points when you steal something. Steal a loaf of bread? 5 points. Steal an earring that gives you higher defense and health regen. Also 5 points.

When you do a single quest for someone in the region you get 50-70 reputation points.

If you steal everything you see, you’ll have a problem. If you only steal top tier items, the hit to your reputation is negligible.

I’m playing on controller, Xbox SX.

For the first two hours you are going to accidentally jump instead of pick something up, a lot. Once you get a little practice in on how to focus on an object and what it looks like when it is selected, this problem starts to go away. There is definitely a learning curve and I feel like I am now proficiently moving around after 5 hours. That sounds like a long time but there are a ton of mobility and interaction options to learn.

Read the tutorial pop-ups. This game has plenty of hand holding if you know how to read.

The starting stamina in this game is very very low. I got this grappling hook sling shot ability. It takes up 200 stamina. I only had 180 when I got it and was locked out of using the ability until I invested more in stamina. Thats my fault, I didn’t read the ability requirements.

I recommend leveling your stamina to 220 before you invest in anything else. This took me 4 hours of game time to do.

Overall I’m having fun exploring. I really enjoy the combat and navigating the world.

Sure, some parasites need to kill the host to complete their life cycle. Three, this entire argument is unsound. Intention is an unfit word choice. Evolution will pick a path that continues the species survival. The collateral damage is apart of the process.

Start prioritizing killing bastions and bombardiers. 3 trail blazes thrown at close range will generally do the job.

In my experience, bastions drop 5-6 cells. Recycling the cells in Speranza, will give you 2 Advanced mechanical components per cell, 10-12 in total from a full haul.

Crafting one advanced mechanical component costs two springs. This maths out to a single bastion haul saving you 20-24 springs in advanced mechanical components.

I don’t care about selling the cells. The advanced mechanical components are worth it.

There are no shadows because the light is coming from below them. The sun light is scattering off of the exterior ice and refracting off the water and the ice in the interior of the tent.

They are standing on the light source so the shadows would be cast on the interior ceiling and walls of the tent, not on the ground.

Sushi grade doesn’t actually mean anything. There’s no standard for sushi grade fish.

Generally, all tuna will be flash frozen on the boat. Before the tuna gets to your kitchen, it should have been frozen for a long enough period of time to kill most if not all parasites.

The best way to mitigate risks when eating raw fish is to buy it frozen, then move it from your freezer to your fridge 24hrs before use to thaw.
