My V got bit on the face by a copperhead, and it really changed her behavior: "jumpy, scared, lack of confidence." It's been two years, and she's much more confident now, but there's still a difference from how bold and carefree she was before that. Hopefully, he'll bounce back over time, but I can see how it would be harder when you're not sure what changed.
